Tuesday, July 10th


7/10/18

1:30 PM- An officer was dispatched to Walnut Street for a report of a breaking and entering.  The caller stated that her home was broken into and that she had items taken from her apartment by a friend who has taken items from her home in the past.  She identified the suspect due to an article of clothing left behind during the breaking and entering that she recognized.  This case is under investigation.

5:15 PM- An officer assigned to the front desk of the police station was approached by a complainant reporting a lost phone.  The owner of the phone stated that he believed he left his phone in an Uber and called the driver when he realized his phone was not on his person after being dropped off.  The driver denied that the phone was left in the car.  The location services of the phone were found to be turned off when checked.  This case is under investigation.

An officer responded to a graffiti complaint.  Upon arrival at the scene the officer noticed graffiti tags on a lamp post, an electrical box and two United States Postal Service mail boxes.  The officer recognized the tags from another location.  The suspect(s) are unknown and the case is under investigation.
