Blog 1-23 to 1-25

On 1/23/2017 an officer responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Boylston St and Hammond St.   Officer reports no injuries, one operator cited for a red light violation. A report was taken.

On 1/24/2017 offices responded to a bank alarm on Harvard St.  Officers report a robbery had occurred.  Suspect handed teller a written note. Suspect was described to be approximately 5’11”, slim, late to mid-20s, with a dark shaven face. He was wearing a Black long sleeve hoodie, cream glasses and blue fitted jeans. Unable to locate suspect the matter is under investigation.

On 1/24/2017 an officer responded to the scene of a motor vehicle striking a pedestrian at the intersection of St. Paul St and Longwood Ave. The officer was accompanied by EMTs to assist with the pedestrian who was taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for minor injuries.  

On 1/25/2017 officers made a motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Washington St and Boylston St.  A check revealed the operator had an outstanding warrant.  The operator was placed under arrest and transported to the station to be processed.

On 1/25/2017 Officers make a traffic stop on Beacon St.  A check revealed the operator had an outstanding warrant.  The operator was placed under arrest, transported to the Brookline Police Station, booked and processed.  

On 1/25/2017 offices arrived on Pleasant St for a report of a stolen bike. The victim reports that the bike was last seen on the evening of 1/24/17 and was noticed to be missing the morning of 1/25/17. The victim says the blue bike was locked onto the front fence and the lock was cut and left behind.

On 1/25/2017 officers responded to a dwelling on Longwood Ave for a report of a burglary. The victim states that several items were missing. The officer found no signs of forced entry and the residents did not properly lock the apartment, allowing the suspect easy access to the dwelling.


On 1/25/2017 an officer responded to a report of a shoplifter on Harvard St. Officers were given the description of the suspect and located the suspect on Webster St.  The suspect was placed under arrest, transported the Brookline Police Station, booked and processed.
