Police Reports 2/12/2014

On February 12, an officer observed a vehicle travelling on Boylston St. with an expired inspection sticker. A check of the registration with the officer’s in-car computer confirmed it was expired and showed that the owner of the vehicle had an active warrant. The driver was stopped and placed under arrest for the warrant and cited for the expired inspection sticker.

On February 12, officers were dispatched to a business on Harvard St. for a report of shoplifting. A store employee reported seeing a woman take several small items and place them into her handbag. The woman was cited for shoplifting and will be summoned to court.

On February 12, an officer observed a vehicle travelling on Boylston St. fail to stop at a red light at Lee Street. The officer initiated a traffic stop and ran a license check on the driver. The search showed that the driver’s license was suspended. The driver was placed under arrest and cited for operating after suspension and a red light violation.
