Police Reports 6/15-6/19

Shoplifting: Occurred on 6/15 at 5:10 PM- Harvard St.

Officers responded to TJ Maxx for the report of a shoplifter. A loss prevention employee stated that he observed a female subject remove items from a shelf and attempt to return them without first purchasing the items. The employee stated that he also observed the subject conceal items in her bag. A query of the subject’s information revealed that she had two warrants for her arrest. The subject was placed under arrest for Shoplifting and the warrants.

OUIL: Occurred on 6/16 at 1:58 AM- Beacon St.

A vehicle was traveling on Carlton St. going the wrong direction of a one way street. The vehicle turned onto Beacon St., where the officer conducted a traffic stop. Upon reaching the driver’s window, the officer could detect an odor of alcohol emanating from the vehicle. Based on the observations, the driver was placed under arrest for Operating under the Influence of Alcohol.

Larceny: Occurred between 6/15 and 6/16- Tappan St.

An individual reported the larceny of a bicycle. The victim stated that he locked his bicycle to a rack on Tappan St. at 11:00 PM on 6/15. When he returned the next day at 9:00 PM he discovered that his bike was missing.

Arrest: Occurred on 6/17 at 1:41 AM- Kent St./ Aspinwall St.

Officers observed an individual in the area of Muddy River, an area that is closed after dark. A query of the individual’s information revealed that he had a straight warrant out of Boston District Court. The individual was placed under arrest for the warrant.

MV Theft: Occurred on 6/17 between 5:00 and 10:53 PM- Greenough St.

A Greenough St. resident reported the theft of a motorized scooter. The victim stated she had parked her scooter in front of her apartment building around 5:00 PM on 6/17. When she returned a few hours later she discovered that the scooter was missing. The scooter was left unlocked.

B&E Motor Vehicle: Occurred on 6/18- Larz Anderson Park

An individual reported the breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The victim stated that sometime between 9:18 and 10:18 AM, somebody broke into her vehicle and stole two bags.

Burglary: Occurred on 6/18 at 10:40 AM- Egmont St.

An individual reported a breaking and entering at an Egmont St. address. The caller stated that she turned around from her computer and observed an unknown male subject in the apartment. The caller described the subject as a white male in his 20's with a shaggy haircut wearing a dark colored t-shirt and dark colored pajamas. The subject then left the apartment through a rear door. A search of the area for the suspect yielded negative results. Several items were reported stolen from a bedroom.

Arrest: Occurred on 6/18 at 12:35 PM- Clyde St.

A vehicle was traveling on Clyde St. at a high rate of speed. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Clyde St. A query of the operator’s information revealed that he did not have a valid driver’s license. The driver was placed under arrest for Not Duly Licensed.
