September 9th Police Reports

Assault

  • Occurred 6:49PM (9/9) – 32 Colbourne Cres

Police responded to a scene involving a verbal argument between two men that became physical. Victim was assaulted by suspect due to what the suspect believe was persistent noise making in the parking lot. Suspect will be summonsed to court for the charge of assault and battery.

Burglary

  • Occurred between 1:00PM (9/6) and 6:00PM (9/6) – Stearns Rd.

Victim reported items having been stolen from her apartment. Victim stated that she had locked both apartments’ doors well. Victim had an idea of who the suspects may have been. Police are following up on the case.

Larceny

  • Occurred between 6:00PM (9/8) and 7:00AM (9/9) – 97 Winthrop Rd

Victim reported that her bike was stolen from her front porch. The bike is a black and orange Nova Commuter bike with silver “X” on top of the frame.

  • Occurred 9:00AM (9/9) and 2:00PM (9/9) – 35 Davis Av.

Victim reported that someone had stolen four of her planter pots off her porch. Victim stated that she had been home all day and hadn’t heard or seen any suspicious activity. Victim described the planters as heavy and antique looking.

  • Occurred 4:23PM (9/9) – 1310 Beacon St.

Police responded to a local cell phone store for a robbery involving five young males. The store employees stated that the suspects had fled the store with two cell phones. Four of the five suspects were located and questioned. All four suspects were placed under arrest and charged with larceny. Police are currently working on locating the fifth suspect. Police have requested the video surveillance from the store.

Malicious Damage

  • Occurred 10:13AM (9/9) – Beacon St/Centre St

Victim stated that an individual on his bike had struck his vehicle. Suspect had struck the right side mirror with his fist, causing it to fall. Suspect was found and questioned. Police have requested a clerks hearing for malicious damage.

Traffic Offense

  • Occurred 10:01AM (9/9) – Milton Rd/Boylston St.

Suspect was stopped for making a prohibited turn in traffic. Suspect was stopped and was asked for his license and registration. Suspect’s license check came back as revoked. Suspect was placed under arrest for operating m/v after revocation
