November 29th Police Reports

Arrests

• Occurred at 3:05AM (11/29)- 400 Heath Street

Ethan Tuitt, 19 yrs, was arrested and charged with Simple Assault and Battery, and Assault with a Firearm.

Justin Cuda, 19 yrs, was arrested and charged with Simple Assault and Battery, and Assault with a Firearm.

Police responded to Pine Manor College where several victims reported being assaulted with what they believed was a firearm. Police spoke to one of the witnesses who said one of her friends and her former boyfriend had gotten into an argument in the parking lot that eventually led to the male physically sticking the female. The witness then explained that the suspect’s accomplice displayed what appeared to be a gun. It was then reported that the victim and several others while in fear of being assaulted by a gun ran and were subsequently chased by the man and his friends. The suspect and his friend were arrested, and police were able to confiscate a knife, and a Marijuana pipe.

• Occurred between 8PM and 8:08PM (11/29)- 1334 Beacon Street

Gregory Kirsh, 29 yrs, was arrested and charged with Shoplifting.

Employees at radio shack reported that a man had come into the store with no receipt in an attempt to return headphones for cash, the employee believed this to be suspicious because the same suspect had been in the store about 10 minutes prior and after employees reviewed the security tape it was learned the man had stolen the headphones, he was subsequently arrested.

Attempted Burglary

• Occurred at 12AM (11/25)- Heath Street

Victim reported that earlier in the week sometime during the night he had heard loud sounds coming from his yard and also noticed his motion sensor light go on. In the morning the man noticed what was described as punch marks on his window, this case is still under investigation.

Fraud

• Occurred at 11AM (11/29)- Sumner Road

Victim reported that she was contacted about several suspicious transactions being made on her credit card. The victim reported that she subsequently cancelled the card; however the fraudulent charges had already amounted to approximately $300.

Larceny

• Occurred between 2:20PM and 2:30PM (11/29)- Beacon Street

Victim reported that her wallet was stolen sometime while she was shopping at The GAP; the wallet was valued at approximately $35.

November 28th Police Reports

Arrest

• Occurred at 12:16PM (11/28)- Fuller/ Commonwealth Avenue

Izoduwa Enoma, 21 yrs, was arrested and charged with Possession of a Class D Substance and additional Drug Law Violations.

Akeem Custis, 23 years, was arrested and charged with Possession of a Class D Substance and additional Drug Law Violations.

Police on patrol noticed the vehicle’s driver having several suspicious interactions with pedestrians. After stopping the vehicle it was learned its driver was selling Marijuana. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a large amount of Marijuana packaged separately, in addition to a digital scale, the driver was subsequently arrested. After the arrest the officer noticed one of the individuals he had seen previously involved in the incriminating transaction with the arrestee. The officer stopped this individual and it was discovered that he was in possession of Marijuana, he was additionally arrested.

Summons

• Occurred between 2:01AM and 2:30AM (11/28)-233 Washington Street

Police observed a vehicle traveling with a defective headlight and upon stopping the vehicle it was discovered the operator had an expired license, he will be summonsed to court for operating with an Expired License, and operating with an Defective Taillight.

Graffiti

• Occurred at 8:33AM (11/28) - 46 Tappan Street

A teacher at Brookline High School reported that fresh graffiti had been written on one of the buildings in the schools upper parking lot, the cost of this damage is unknown.

Larceny

• Occurred between 3PM and 11PM (11/27)-299 Harvard Street

An employee at Panera Bread reported that sometime while she was work her wallet was stolen from her purse, the purse contained a credit card, a license as well as several gift cards for various merchants.

• Occurred between 10:30AM and 11:30AM (11/28) - 270 Tappan Street

Victim reported that sometime over a one hour period his vehicles driver’s side window was smashed and an empty lap top bag valued at $50 and a GPS navigation system valued at $499 were stolen.

November 27th Police Reports

Summons

• Occurred at 7:45AM (11/27)-120 Seaver Road
  

Police responded to reports of an assault and battery and were met by one victim who explained he and his boss had just gotten into a physical altercation. Police were then able to locate the other man involved and both suspects were informed they would be summonsed to court for Assault and Battery.

• Occurred at 8:40AM(11/27)-Beacon Street/ James Street
  

Police stopped a vehicle with an expired inspection sticker and upon speaking with the driver it was learned that her license was also expired along with the vehicles registration, the woman was subsequently informed she would be summonsed to court for being Not Duly License, Expired Inspection Sticker, and Expired Registration.

Breaking and Entering

• Occurred at 8:10AM (11/27) - 76 Buckminster Road
  

Victim reports that someone had broken into his home which is currently being renovated. It appears as though entry was gained through the back door however nothing was reported missing at this time.

• Occurred between 12:30PM and 3:30PM (11/27) – 15 Vernon Street
  

Victim reports that sometime over a three hour period his apartment was broken into and a laptop computer valued at $600 was stolen from the front hallway.

November 26th Police Reports

Arrest

• Occurred at 10:51AM(11/26)- Boylston Street/ Dunster Road

Shedrick Harris, 24 yrs, was arrested and charged with Operating after Suspension, Operating with an Expired Inspection Sticker, and an Unregistered Motor Vehicle.

Police on patrol witnessed a vehicle traveling with an expired inspection sticker and upon stopping the vehicle it was learned that the driver right to operate had been suspended and that he never registered his motor vehicle, he was subsequently arrested.

Assault

• Occurred at 6:23PM (11/26) - Longwood MBTA Stop
  

Victim reported to police that he was assaulted by a group of teenagers while riding his bicycle along the Longwood footbridge. The victim reported that he saw 3 black males standing in front of him when suddenly an Asian male jumped out of the bushes and hit him from behind with what was described as a wooden 2x4. The victim fell off his bike and was repeatedly kicked and punched by all 4 assailants before the suspects fled by foot towards the Fenway area. The victim describes the suspects as 3 black males in their teens who all wore baggy jeans and dark sweatshirts. One of those suspects is described as 150-175lbs with a goatee. The other male is described as a heavyset Asian teenager weighing approximately 185lbs who was last seen wearing baggy jeans and a blue bandana.

Malicious Damage

• Occurred between 8AM (11/19) and 8AM (11/26)- 90 Longwood Avenue

Victim reported that over the last couple of days her vehicle has been repeatedly damaged. The malicious damage has amounted to several large and small dents; the cost of this damage is unknown.

Larceny

• Occurred between 5:20PM and 6:53PM (11/26)- 8 Gerry Road

Victim reported that someone had smashed his passenger’s side window and taken his GPS navigation system valued at $499.

November 25th Police Reports

Arrest

• Occurred at 12:40AM (11/25)- Beacon Street/ St Mary’s Street

Manuel Pina, 33 yrs, was arrested and charged with Operating after Suspension, and Failure to Display Headlights.

Police on patrol stopped a vehicle traveling without its headlights. After stopping the vehicle police discovered that the driver’s right to operate had been suspended and he was subsequently arrested.

• Occurred at 3:16AM (11/25)- 1120 Beacon Street

Christopher Nogiec, 30 yrs, was arrested and charged with Tampering with a Fire Alarm.

Police responded to a fire alarm and witnessed a man running in his underwear down the street, while speaking with the man police learned that he had falsely pulled the alarm and he was subsequently arrested.

• Occurred between 11:10PM and 11:27PM (11/25)

Gerard Bates, 43 yrs, was arrested and charged with Assault and Battery.

Police responded to reports of a fight and upon arrival it was discovered the incident was a domestic altercation, police were able to identify the suspect and he was subsequently arrested.

Summons

• Occurred at 9:15PM (11/25)- 300 South Street

A patient of Bournewood Hospital will be summonsed to court for Indecent Assault and Battery. Police responded to the Hospital and spoke with the victim who is a patient and after she reported being assaulted the suspect was subsequently identified and informed he would be summonsed to court for Indecent Assault and Battery.

Graffiti

• Occurred at 3:33PM (11/25)- 90 Browne Street

Victim reported seeing freshly painted graffiti on the side of the building, the graffiti was written in black ink and this case is still under investigation.

Larceny

• Occurred between 11:59AM (11/24) and 3PM (11/25)- 115 Chestnut Street

Victim reported that sometime overnight his vehicles drivers’ side window had been smashed and his GPS navigation system valued at $420 was stolen from the dashboard.

• Occurred between 3PM and 4:40PM (11/25)- 1281 West Roxbury Parkway

Victim reported her front passenger’s side window had been smashed and her pocketbook and wallet valued at $370 collectively had been stolen from the inside. The wallet contained credit cards, a cell phone, $100 cash, and a license.

November 24th Police Reports

Arrest

• Occurred at 10:29AM (11/24)- 1401 Beacon Street

Jose Pina, 41 yrs, was arrested and charged with Operating after Suspension.

Police on patrol witnessed a vehicle traveling without a side mirror and upon stopping the vehicle it was discovered that the drivers right to operate had been suspended and he was subsequently arrested.

• Occurred at 12:24PM (11/24)- Beacon Street/ Winthrop Road

Kevin Lasquade, 24 yrs, was arrested and charged with Operating while Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor, Fleeing the Scene of a Motor Vehicle Accident, Fleeing the Scene of a Property Damage Accident, and other various traffic offenses.

Police responded to reports of a construction back hoe hitting a parked vehicle and driving away. Police witnessed the backhoe traveling on the street speeding and crossing the double yellow line. Police attempted to pull the vehicle over and after a short distance the backhoe pulled to the side of the road where officers were able to identify the driver and at that point it was determined that the backhoes operator was under the influence of alcohol. It was additionally discovered that Lasquade did not have a license to operate the backhoe he was subsequently arrested.

Larceny

• Occurred between 3PM and 3:30PM (11/23)- 1030 Commonwealth Avenue

Police responded to Kayuga Restaurant and were met by an employee who reported that her wallet and her co-workers wallet were stolen sometime during the day Friday the contents of the wallets are currently unknown.

• Occurred between 1PM and 4PM (11/24)- 356 Harvard Street

Victim reported that his vehicles passenger’s side window had been pried out and his GPS navigation system valued at approximately $400 taken from the dashboard.

November 23rd Police Reports

Arrest

• Occurred at 2PM (11/23) - 59 Pleasant Street

David Small, 50 yrs, was arrested and charged with Larceny.

Police on patrol noticed a suspicious male entering various apartment lobbies without any intended purpose. Police witnessed the man enter several lobbies and leave with packages. Upon questioning the man it was learned that the packages were not his and he was subsequently arrested.

Burglary

• Occurred between 12:01AM (11/22) and 3:56AM (11/23) - 1317 Beacon Street 6307

Police responded to Trader Joes where an employee reported that upon arriving to work he noticed the stores safe missing from the manager’s officer. Police noticed that the office was visibly in disarray, the safe contained an undisclosed amount of money and this case is still under investigation.

• Occurred between 5:10AM (11/19) and12PM (11/21)-150 Walnut Street

Victim reported that upon returning home from being on vacation she discovered her jewelry box opened and dumped on her bed. She reported that approximately $20,000 worth of jewelry including about 20 pairs of earrings, 4 diamond rings, and numerous bracelets had been stolen from the apartment as well as a laptop computer, police are still currently investigating this case.

Larceny

• Occurred between 7PM and 7:15PM (11/20) - 66 Tappan Street

Victim reported leaving her coat and bag in the corner of the gym after a high school dance. She returned 15 minutes later to discover her belongings missing. The coat contained a cell phone valued at $420 as well as a digital camera valued at $200. The wallet contained about $10 in cash.

• Occurred between 12:15PM and 12:53PM (11/23) - 473 Harvard Street

Victim reported that he had dropped his wallet inside Starbucks and upon returning to the store noticed it missing. The wallet contained $50 cash and various bank and identification cards.

An employee at Mint Julep Clothing reported that a dress had been stolen sometime during the day. The dress is valued at $318.

Fraud

• Occurred between 8AM (11/11) and 8AM (11/19) - 130 Clyde Street

Victim reported receiving notification from his bank that several suspicious transactions had been made on his card, the total amount of fraudulent purchases is approximately $750.

November 22nd Police Reports

Summons

• Occurred between 2:15AM and 2:35AM (11/22) - Penniman Road/Dean Road

Police will summons a juvenile woman to court after discovering she was operating a vehicle without a proper license. Police stopped the vehicle after witnessing it traveling without its headlights, and the juvenile driver was only able to provide officers with a Learners Permit. She will be summonsed to court for Operating without a License, and Operating without Headlights.

• Occurred between 2PM and 2:49PM (11/22) - 27 Francis Street

Police responded to an alarm at the Lawrence School and witnessed a juvenile suspect inside. Police also stopped an additional juvenile suspect a short distance away and learned the boys entered the school through an open window, they will be summonsed to court for Breaking and Entering.

Larceny

• Occurred between 10:15AM and 10:45AM (11/22) - 76 Buckminster Road

Victim reported that sometime over a 20 minute period his vehicles passenger side window was smashed and his GPS navigation system valued at approximately $400 was taken from the dashboard.

November 21st Police Reports

Robbery

• Occurred at 1:18AM (11/21)-25 Washington Street

Police responded to a call of a robbery at Brookline Village Gulf Station and upon arrival spoke with an employee who reported being robbed by a black male with a firearm. The victim reported that the suspect was approximately 5'08” and weighed between 150 and 160lbs. The suspect wore a black bandana and sunglasses, the suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police canvassed the area for the suspect with negative results.

Larceny

• Occurred at 10:38AM (11/21) - 1540 Beacon Street

Victim reported that her wallet had been stolen from her pocket book sometime while she was at work. The wallet contained $90 cash, a $100 gift card and personal papers.

• Occurred between 12PM and 1PM (11/20) - 300 South Street

Victim reported leaving her cell phone in the common area of Bournewood Hospital and when she returned 20 minutes later she discovered the phone missing. The phone is valued at $300.

• Occurred between 6:30PM and 7:30PM (11/16) - 155 Harvard Street

The victim an employee at Stop and Shop reported his laptop and cell phone were stolen sometime while he was at work. The combined value of these items is $1350 and this case is still under investigation.

Graffiti

• Occurred between 11PM (11/17) and 9AM (11/18)-105 Marion Street

A victim reported that sometime overnight a large amount of graffiti had been written on the side of the building. The cost of this damage is unkn

November 20th Police Reports

Arrest

• Occurred between 10:43AM and 11:05AM (11/20) - 121 Boylston Street

Hector Gomez, 21 yrs, was arrested and charged with Operating after Suspension, Revoked Registration, and other traffic offenses.

Police on patrol witnessed a vehicle traveling with a revoked registration and upon pulling the vehicle over and asking for the operator’s license it was revealed that

the I.D the driver provided was not his own. Police discovered the operator’s true identity and learned his license was suspended and he was subsequently arrested.

Summons

• Occurred between 12:05AM and 12:30AM (11/20)-367 Harvard Street

Police on patrol witnessed a vehicle take an illegal right turn on red and upon stopping the car it was discovered that the vehicles insurance was revoked, and the inspection sticker had expired. Police informed the driver he would be summonsed to court for Operating with Revoked Insurance, Posted No Turn on Red violation, and an Expired Inspection Sticker.

• Occurred at 7:30AM (11/20) - Harvard Street/ Beacon Street

Police on patrol witnessed a vehicle take an illegal left turn and upon stopping the car it was discovered that the driver’s right to operate had expired. Police informed the man that he would be summonsed to court for Operating with an Expired License, and taking an Illegal Left Turn.

Larceny

• Occurred between 9PM (11/19) and 7AM (11/20) - 16 Cedar Road

Victim reported that sometime overnight his vehicle’s driver side window was smashed and his wallet was stolen from the glove box. The wallet contained $160 in cash, as well as several credit cards and a license.

• Occurred between 6PM (11/19) - and 7:30AM (11/20) - 173 Laurel Road

Victim reported that sometime overnight a suspect entered her open garage, gained entry to her vehicle and stole a bag from the interior. The bag contained a leather planner, down vest, reading glasses, and a make up kit. In addition a roll of quarters and $6 cash were also taken.

• Occurred between 6:45PM and 7:15PM (11/20) - 10 Brookline Place West

Victim reported that she left her cell phone in a public computer lab at the Art Institute for about a half hour and when she returned she discovered it missing. The phone is valued at $450.

• Occurred between 7PM (11/19) and 1:28PM (11/20) - 20 Glenoe Road

Victim reported that sometime overnight her vehicles passenger side window had been smashed and her pocketbook was stolen from the front seat. The pocketbook contained several credit cards, an Ipod valued at $300, and $200 cash.

• Occurred between 3:30PM and 4:54PM (11/20) - 1244 Boylston Street

Victim reported that two young males entered her office at New England Podiatry attempting to sell candy. The juveniles were informed no one in the office wished to buy any candy. The two suspects then left the office but returned a short time later and stole a wallet from one of the employees hand bags as well as a digital camera. The suspects were describes as young black males 13-16 years of age. One of the males had dreadlocks and the other is described as having a ponytail.

Burglary

• Occurred between 10:40AM and 11AM (11/20) – 12 Greenway Court

Victim reported that she discovered a suspicious male inside her apartment, the man was described as a white male in his 50’s, with grayish colored hair and was last seen wearing a dark blue jacket (possibly a Northface). When the woman confronted the man he fled the apartment, the victim reported that she discovered a silver Tiffany’s necklace, and a set of diamond earrings missing from the apartment, and it is believed the suspect gained entry through an unlocked door.

Residents are strongly advised to be cognizant of any suspicious activity around their residences. Residents are further advised to be diligent in securing their doors, and to report any suspicious activity to the Brookline Police promptly.

November 19th Police Reports

Suspicious

• Occurred between 11:30AM and 11:52AM (11/19) - 21 Borland Street

Police responded to reports of a suspicious person and upon arrived the victim reported that a man approached his room door on the inside of his dwelling and engaged in conversation with him by posing as a painter; however when it was discovered that no painters were scheduled to work on the house the victim became suspicious. It is believed that the man entered the residence by making use of unsecured doors. Police canvassed the area for the suspect yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a 6’1” white male weighing roughly 200lbs, clean shaven and in his 50’s. The suspect was last seen exiting the house wearing a black Northface jacket and jeans.

Residents are advised to contact the Brookline Police immediately with any suspicious activity they may witness in their neighborhood. Residents are advised to be cognizant about securing the doors to their home as well as making sure that they are aware of any work that is scheduled to be done to their building or their home.

Burglary

• Occurred at 1:45PM (11/19) - 736 Commonwealth Avenue

An employee at Espresso Royale restaurant reported that sometime over the weekend $2653.08 in cash was stolen from the safe, which had possibly been left unsecured. This case is still currently under investigation.

Graffiti

• Occurred between 5:30PM (11/16) and 12:41PM (11/19) - 5 Linden Place

A resident reported seeing newly written graffiti on the children’s playground behind St. Mary’s church and it appears as though the damage was done sometime over the weekend with a black marker.

Larceny

• Occurred between 3PM and 3:45PM (11/19) - 305 Washington Street

Victim reported that her vehicles passenger side window had been smashed and her wallet as well as a handheld computer, valued at $440 was stolen from the interior. The wallet contained several bank and identification cards in addition to $70 cash; the wallet is valued at approximately $100.

November 18th Police Reports

Summons

• Occurred at 12:38AM (11/18) - Kent Street/ Aspinwall Avenue

Police on patrol witnessed two subjects huddled in bushes appearing to be urinating. Upon stopping the suspect’s police saw a zip lock bag partially sticking out of one of the man’s pockets. The bag contained a green leafy substance believed to be Marijuana and in addition police found a glass pipe and additional Marijuana, as well as an unopened beer can in his jacket pocket. Police informed the suspect that he would be summonsed to court for Minor in Possession of Alcohol and Possession of a Class D Substance (Marijuana).

• Occurred at 1:06AM (11/18) - 277 Mason Terrace

Police were dispatched for calls of a fight that had spilled out onto the street. Police were met by several suspects and it was revealed that this location had been cause for concern in the past regarding loud parties. Police informed the residents that they would all be summonsed to court.

Graffiti

• Occurred between 8PM (11/17) and 5:30AM (11/18) - 111 Marion Street

Victim reports that sometime overnight her outside fence had been ‘tagged’ multiple times with a black marker, the cost of this damage is unknown.

November 17th Police Reports

Arrest

• Occurred at 12:38AM (11/17)- School Street/ Harvard Street

Michael Pringle, 63 yrs, was arrested and charged with Operating while Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquors and Failure to use care when coming to a stop.

Police responded to the scene of a motor vehicle collision and were informed that by the victim that a vehicle had just struck her car from behind and she believed the other driver might be intoxicated. Police spoke with the other driver and determined him to be under the influence of alcohol

• Occurred at 1:18AM (11/17)- Boylston Street/ Chestnut Hill Avenue

Luizfernando Martins, 39 yrs, was arrested and charged with being Not Duly Licensed and other traffic offenses.

Police on patrol witnessed a vehicle traveling well above the posted rate of speed and upon stopping the vehicle it was revealed that the driver did not have a right to operate after 9PM, he was subsequently arrested.

• Occurred at 5:58PM (11/17)- 16 New Terrace Road

Cherman Pierre, 22 yrs, was arrested and charged with Trespassing.

Summons

• Occurred at 12:56AM (11/17) - Winchester Street/ Thorndike Street

Police stopped a vehicle with a defective headlight and learned that the vehicles driver did not have a license to operate. During the traffic stop police were approached by another vehicle operated by the suspects father, after some investigation police informed the suspect that he would be summonsed to court for Unlicensed Operation and defective equipment. Police additionally informed the suspects father that he would be summonsed to court for Knowingly Allowing Unlicensed Operation.

Malicious Damage

• Occurred between 3PM and 4PM (11/15) - Park Street/Beacon Street

Victim reported that sometime over a one hour period her vehicles driver’s side had been ‘keyed’. The cost of this damage was estimated at $1,600.

Larceny

• Occurred between 2:30PM and 3:00PM (11/17) - 1773 Beacon Street

Victim reported that her purse had been stolen from outside her son’s class room at the All Saints Church. The bag contained several passports, multiple credit cars, a cell phone and about $25 cash.

November 16th Police Reports

Arrest

• Occurred at 3:01AM (11/16)- 0 Ashville Road

Neil Lynch, 22 yrs, was arrested and charged with Possession of a Class D Substance (Marijuana), Possession of a Class B Substance (Cocaine), and a Default Warrant.

Police on patrol witnessed a vehicle with several occupants idling in Asheville Street Parking lot; police approached the vehicle where they witnessed the occupants making furtive and aggressive fidgeting motions. A check of the vehicle revealed a bag of a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana in addition to a bag of a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine. The driver of the vehicle claimed possession of the two bags and all occupants denied knowledge of the drugs. The driver was subsequently arrested.

Summons

• Occurred at 12:20AM (11/16) - Dexter Park

Police on detail at Dexter Park were informed by Security that a resident had complained of an ongoing party on third floor. Police heard loud music and after several attempts were finally greeted at the door and after speaking with the resident police were able to witness the inside of the apartment which consisted of about 20 guests, police informed the resident he would be summonsed to court for Disturbing the Peace.

• Occurred at 1:36AM (11/16) - 1223 Beacon Street

Police witnessed a vehicle idling on the street for about 10 minutes and after officers ran a registry check it was revealed that the vehicles insurance had been revoked.

The driver was informed that he would be summonsed to court for Operating after Revoked Insurance and operating an Unregistered Motor Vehicle.

• Occurred between 5PM and 6PM (11/16) - Harvard Street/Longwood Avenue 6210

Police on patrol pulled over a vehicle after witnessing it take an illegal left turn. Further investigation revealed that the vehicles driver was not duly licensed, the driver was informed that he would be summonsed to court for that violation.

• Occurred at 5:07PM (11/16) - Independence/VFW

Police on patrol approached a vehicle which had been idling in the parking lot. Upon looking in the vehicle police were able see two juvenile suspects as well as a driver who appeared to be in his 30’s. Police then learned that the driver was not related to any of the juvenile occupants they were just ‘friends’, police additionally witnessed several brown bags on the floor of the car with beer inside. The juveniles were informed that they would be summonsed to court for Minor in Possession of Alcohol. The driver was informed that he would be summonsed to court for Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Shoplifting

• Occurred at 3:32PM (11/16)-1302 Beacon Street

An employee at The Mint Julep reported that a suspect who she had previously suspected of shoplifting had left the store with two dresses with a combined value of $250; police canvassed the area looking for suspects but were met with negative results.

Larceny

• Occurred between 5PM (10/01) and 5PM (11/09)-1357 Beacon Street

Victim reported that after losing his wallet he noticed that several checks that were in the wallet had been fraudulently cashed for a combined loss of over $1,900. This case is still under investigation.

Burglary

• Occurred between 7AM (11/01) and 10:23AM (11/15)- St Paul Street

Victim reports an ongoing burglary problem with their construction work site. Previously several items of equipment were stolen and more recently copper wire, gas valves and other various plumbing and electrical equipment were stolen from the electrician’s room which is usually secured. The total cost of stolen items to this date is estimated at over $10,000.

• Occurred at 2:56PM (11/15)- 585 Washington Street

Victim reported that a new window which she left covered with a blanket on her front porch was stolen sometime during the day. The value of the window is approximately $360

Malicious Damage

• Occurred between 11AM and 11:14AM (11/15)-1148 Boylston Street

Victim reports that after returning from Starbucks he noticed his vehicle was partially covered with a sticky liquid like substance, no other damage to his motor vehicle was reported.

Larceny

• Occurred between 5:45PM and 6:15PM (11/15)- 155 Harvard Street
  

Victim reported that sometime while shopping for groceries her wallet was taken from her handbag inside her cart. The wallet contained various identification and credit cards as well as $140 cash.

November 14th Police Reports

Arrest

• Occurred at 9:13AM (11/14)- 1281 West Roxbury Parkway

Kenneth Cormier, 21 yrs, was arrested and charged with Operating after Suspension and various traffic offenses.

Police witnessed a vehicle traveling with flashing emergency lights on and cars ahead of this vehicle began pulling over. Police were able to stop the car and an investigation revealed that the driver’s right to operate had been suspended, and he was subsequently arrested.

November 13th Police Reports

Summons

• Occurred between 3:30PM and 3:40PM (11/13)- 302 Harvard Street

Police responded to a call of shoplifting at The Children’s Place. Upon arrival it was revealed that one of the customers in line had stuffed multiple items into her handbag. Police were able to identify the suspect and further investigation revealed 12 items of clothing in the woman’s bag, she will be summonsed to court for Shoplifting.

Shoplifting

• Occurred between 12:15PM and 12:30PM (11/13)-310 Harvard Street

Police responded to Lee Institute School of Real Estate for a call of shoplifting. Upon arrival police spoke with the manager who informed them that a 30 year old, 5’8” black male suspect had just ran out of the store with a book. Police canvassed the area with negative results. The book is valued at $45.

Burglary

• Occurred between 9AM and 8:30PM (11/13)- Rice Street

Victim reported that sometime while he was at work a suspect had gained entry into his apartment, stealing approximately $420 cash, an Ipod valued at $250, and 20 cuff links valued at $600, this case is still under investigation.

November 12th Police Reports

Arrests

• Occurred at 11:23AM (11/12)-20 Corey Road

Adieni Torrezani, 23 yrs, was arrested charged with being Not Duly Licensee

Police stopped a vehicle which had a partially shattered windshield and upon investigation learned the vehicle’s driver did not have a valid license and he was subsequently arrested.

• Occurred at 1:18AM (11/13)- Boylston Street and Reservoir Road

Jasmine Reid Manley, 22 yrs, was arrested and charged with Unlicensed Operation and a Speed limit violation.

Police pulled over a vehicle that was traveling above the posted speed limit and upon investigation it was revealed that the driver of the vehicle did not have a valid license, she was subsequently arrested.

• Occurred at 2:07AM (11/13)- 85 Sears Road

Mitchell Sacramona, 28 yrs, was arrested and charged with Operating Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor, Driving to Endanger, Failure to Stop for a police officer, Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Crash, and Possession of a Class D Substance (Marijuana).

Police on patrol witnessed a disabled SUV on the side of the road with front end damage and a flat tire. The driver of the vehicle approached police and when asked for his license and registration the man went back to his vehicle and got in with another female and drove away from the cruiser, when police activated their blue overhead lights in an attempt to pull the vehicle over the vehicle did not stop and continued to drive approximately a half mile weaving through back roads until finally coming to a stop on Sears Road. Officers spoke with the driver and determined he was under the influence of alcohol, he was subsequently arrested. Officers then noticed a small white case laying on the lawn next to the SUV the case contained a small amount of a green leafy substance believed to be Marijuana, the suspect was additionally charged.

Burglary

• Occurred between 10PM (11/11) and 4:28AM (11/12) - 421 Harvard Street

Owner reports that sometime overnight an unknown suspect gained entry into Kupels Bakery and moved his cash register onto the floor; however it does not appear that anything was stolen.

Police stopped a vehicle after learning it had revoked insurance and informed the driver that he will be summonsed to court for Operating after Revoked Insurance.

Arrest

• Occurred at 1:04AM (11/10)- 1300 Boylston Street

Sue Richardson, 43 yrs, was arrested and charged with Operating under the Influence of Alcohol.

Police on patrol witnessed a vehicle traveling at an excessive rate of speed; the officer’s radar registered the vehicles speed to be 56MPH this being in a 35MPH zone. Police spoke with the driver and determined her to be under the influence of alcohol. The woman was subsequently arrested.

Peter Lee, 23 yrs, was arrested and charged with a Graffiti Law Violation.

Raina Lewis, 21 yrs, was arrested and charged with a Graffiti Law Violation.

Police on patrol witnessed two individuals acting suspiciously and upon following them witnessed them spray painting the wall behind the ski market. A search of the subjects revealed multiple spray paint cans and other items commonly associated with ‘tagging’. The two subjects were subsequently arrested.

• Occurred at 2:59PM (11/10)- 267 Harvard Street

Karen Johnson, 41 yrs, was arrested and charged with two counts of Shoplifting.

Police received a description of a suspect who had just stolen several items from Body Works, they found the suspect a short time later and a search revealed her to be in possession of $133 worth of stolen goods from that location and also to be in possession of stolen sneakers from Good Feet Store valued at $160. The suspect was subsequently arrested.

Police will summons a man to court for Operating after Revoked Insurance after police witnessed him operating a vehicle, and a check revealed the vehicle’s insurance had been revoked.

Larceny

• Occurred between 3PM and 4:30Pm (11/08)- Tappan Street/ Greenough Street

Victim reported that her brown hand bag had been stolen from the side of Cypress Field sometime while she was running; the bag contained a cell phone, $50 cash and other miscellaneous personal items.

Malicious Damage

• Occurred at 8:40PM (11/10)- 29 Avon Street

Victim reported hearing a loud smashing sound and upon investigation discovered a rock

had been thrown through her window, the cost of this damage is unknown.

November 9th Police Reports

Stolen MV

• Occurred between 11:30PM (11/08) and 6AM (11/09) - 1000 Boylston Street

Victim reported that sometime overnight her 2002 Lexus ES300 valued at appositely $12,000 was stolen from her assigned parking space.

Summons

• Occurred at 9:50AM (11/09) - 194 Grove Street

An employee at Temple Emeth reported seeing a suspicious male enter her private office area and attempt to open the safe, after calling police she provided a description of the subject. Police were able to locate this individual a short time later at the Putterham Library where an employee reported seeing the same male suspect going into an Employee Only area and that employee stated she believed that the suspect entered a janitor’s office. Police were able to identify the suspect and informed him he would be summonsed to court for breaking and entering of a depository, and will be additionally charged with trespassing for his actions at the Putterham Library.

Police reported seeing a man painting the street with spray paint, and after informing the man it was up to town employees to properly mark the roadways and that if he continued criminal action would be taken against him. Police saw the subject painting the street again a short time later and informed him that he will be summonsed to court for Malicious Damage, and Graffi

November 8th Police Reports

Arrest

• Occurred at 10:12AM (11/08)- 282 Newton Street

Jose Rosales was arrested and charged with being Not Duly Licensed and other traffic offenses.

Police on patrol stopped a vehicle after it failed to stop at a stop sign. Further investigation revealed that the vehicles operator did not have an active license and he was subsequently arrested.

Larceny

• Occurred between 10PM (11/07) and 8AM (11/08)- 360 Tappan Street

Victim reported that a piece of copper drain pipe used to direct the flow of rain was stolen from the side of his building. The copper extension is valued at $50.

• Occurred between 7:30AM and 4:40PM (11/03)- 1717 Beacon Street

Victim reported her credit card had been stolen from her handbag sometime during the day while she was at work. She noticed it missing the following day and when she investigated it was revealed that $59 in fraudulent charges had been attributed to her account.

November 7th Police Reports

Arrest

• Occurred at 2:44AM (11/07)- 724 Washington Street

Police on patrol witnessed a vehicle traveling with a defective break light and upon pulling the vehicle over discovered the driver’s right to operate had been suspended, and that his registration had been suspended. The driver was subsequently arrested.

Burglary

• Occurred at 4:37AM (11/07)- 21 Gibbs Street

Victim reports that while asleep she felt something touch her leg when she awoke she discovered it was not one of her roommates but a male figure standing 5’6-5’8 ft tall wearing dark clothing she followed the suspect who exited out the front door. Victim reported that they had left their apartment door unlocked. Nothing is reported stolen at this time and this case is still under investigation.

Fraud

Victim reported receiving calls from his bank informing him that someone was attempting to use fraudulent checks in his name. The victim believes the suspect took checks and a bank statement from his mail. The total loss of the fraud is $1,000.

Larceny

• Occurred between 8AM and 9:30AM (11/01)- 2 Brookline Place

Victim reported leaving her phone charging in a common room overnight, when she returned the next day her phone was missing. The cost of the phone is reported at $300.

November 6th Police Reports

Arrest

• Occurred at 12:25PM (11/06)- 1322 Beacon Street

Anthony Franklin, 48 yrs, was arrested and charged with Shoplifting.

A loss prevention officer for a local CVS observed a suspect placing several boxes of Gillette razors into his coat without paying. The prevention officer followed the suspect later identified as Franklin out of the store. The prevention officer saw the suspect get on an MBTA bus and when police arrived they boarded the bus and the CVS employee was able to identify the suspect who was subsequently arrested.

Summons

Police on patrol stopped a vehicle with an expired registration sticker and further investigation revealed that the vehicles registration had been revoked. The man will be summonsed to court for Revoked Registration, Expired Inspection Sticker, and no Registration in Possession.

Malicious Damage

• Occurred between 8PM and 10PM (11/06)- 525 Harvard Street

Victim reports several long key marks were made on the side of his vehicle sometime over the last few days. The cost of the damage is unknown.

Victim reported that sometime overnight a suspect smashed her front driver side window and took her GPS navigation device valued at 500 from the dashboard.

A student at Newbury College reported that he left his cell phone in the dining hall and when he returned to claim his phone he discovered it missing. The phone is valued at $350.

• Occurred between 5PM and 7PM (11/05)- 1330 Beacon Street

Victim reported that sometime during the day her keys and glasses case containing $40 cash were taken from her office.

Fraud

• Occurred between 6:47PM (9/05) and 6:47PM (9/24)- 45 Longwood Ave

Victim reported that someone had fraudulently used her Toys R US account to charge $164.81 worth of goods.

November 4th Police Reports

Arrest

• Occurred between 1:29AM and 2:05AM (11/04)- 50 Longwood Avenue/ St Paul Street

Lori Hynes, 23 yrs, was arrested and charged with Operating while Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor.

Victim reported that while driving his taxi he was hit by a dark colored SUV which kept going without stopping to exchange papers. The Taxi Driver was able to follow the vehicle on Longwood Avenue. Police witnessed the damage to the Taxi, and upon questioning the driver of the SUV officers determined her to be under the influence of alcohol. However further investigation revealed the taxi drivers license was suspended. He was issued a summons for Operating after License Suspension.

• Occurred at 9:06PM (11/04)- 519 Washington Street

A juvenile suspect was arrested and charged with Possession of Burglarious Tools, Carrying a Dangerous Weapon, Possession of a Class D Substance (Marijuana), and Minor in Possession of Alcohol.

Victim reported to police that his vehicles window had been smashed and his XM radio and $100 in change were missing from the interior. A neighbor of the victim reported hearing a loud bang and seeing a suspect described as a young white male wearing a black sweatshirt with dark pants and carrying a backpack fleeing from the scene. Police found a suspect matching that description a short distance away and after being given permission to search the suspects backpack police discovered an illegal double edged butterfly knife, a thermos containing what is believed to be alcohol, and a green leafy substance believed to be Marijuana. In addition police discovered a screwdriver in the juvenile’s pocket. The suspect was subsequently arrested.

Loud Party

• Occurred at 12:34AM (11/4)- 76 Egmont Street

Police responded to a complaint of a loud party and upon arrival witnessed empty beer cans and red cups strewn throughout the apartment. Further investigation revealed several guests were still inside the party they were all identified and sent of their way. The hostess of the party, a Bu student will be summonsed to court for Disturbing the Peace and Furnishing Alcohol to Persons under 21.

Larceny

• Occurred between 10AM (10/27) and 3:50AM (11/04)- 20 St Paul Street

Victim reported his vehicles window had been smashed and about $2.00 in change was taken from the interior.

Fraud

• Occurred between *AM (10/29) and 8AM (10/30)- Corey Street

Victim reported receiving a call from his bank that several unusual purchases had been made on his card. The fraudulent charges totaled over $1000 and this case is still under investigation.

November 3rd Police Reports

Loud Party

• Occurred at 1:33AM (11/03) - 66 Egmont Street

Police responded to a call of a loud party and after meeting with the underage residents of the apartment observed a large number of empty beer cans and spilled beer. When police entered the apartment they discovered two cases of beer in the refrigerator as well as a funnel used to consume mass quantities of alcohol. The residents, both students at Boston University will be summonsed into court for Disturbing the Peace and Minor in Possession of Alcohol.

November 2nd Police Reports

Arrest

• Occurred at 4:45PM (11/2)- Longwood Avenue/Harvard Street

Shara Brummit, 22 yrs, was arrested and charged with Operating while Under the Influence of Drugs, Possession of a Class D Substance (Marijuana), and other Traffic Offenses.

Police on patrol approached a vehicle which was sitting in the middle of an intersection blocking the flow of traffic. While approaching the vehicle police witnessed the driver smoking what appeared to be a cigarette. However, when the suspect rolled down her window officers smelled a strong odor of Marijuana. The woman admitted to smoking and turned over a bag of a green leafy substance believed to be marijuana. The woman was subsequently arrested.

Larceny

• Occurred at 6PM (10/31)-1352 Beacon Street

Victim reported that while shopping at Party favors she noticed her purse, valued at $300 missing from her cart. The purse contained $100 cash, as well as various identification and bank cards.

• Occurred between 8:30PM and 11:58PM (11/2)- 23 Warwick Road

Victim reported that sometime during the evening his vehicles front passenger window had been smashed and his GPS navigation system valued at 419.99 was taken from the interior.

November 1st Police Reports

Arrest

• Occurred at 1:05PM (11/01) - 1103 Beacon Street

Melissa Mejia, 23 yrs, was arrested and charged with Operating after Suspension, and other various vehicular violations.

Police on patrol witnessed a vehicle traveling without a front license plate, an after stopping the vehicle further inspection revealed the woman had an expired registration sticker, as well as a suspended license, the woman was subsequently arrested.

Larceny

• Occurred between 8PM (10/31) and 9AM (11/01) - 35 Milton Road

Victim reported that sometime over night a suspect gained entry into his unlocked vehicle and took $10 in loose change, and a Sony stereo remote control valued at $100 from inside.

Robbery

• Occurred between 9:30PM and 10PM (10/17)- 22 Chestnut Place

Victim reported being previously robbed by a black male suspect who was yielding a dark handgun. The man made off with an undisclosed amount of cash as well as the victim’s purse. The suspect was last seen wearing a hoodie sweatshirt.

October 31st Police Reports

Arrest

• Occurred at 1:14PM (10/31)- 25 Longwood Ave

Angel Montes, 71 yrs, was arrested and charged with larceny.

While on patrol detectives observed a suspect later identified as Angel Montes acting suspiciously while switching items between two bags in an alleyway. When officers approached the man to inquire about his actions Montes dropped both bags he was carrying and started to flee. Police checked the bags and found that they contained a large quantity of over the counter pain medication. Police contacted a local CVS and discovered the items, totaling $343.89 in loss, had been recently stolen from CVS. Montes was subsequently arrested.

• Occurred at 2:47AM (11/1)- Harvard Street/ Pierce Street

Slavisa Dincik, 32 yrs, was arrested and charged with Assault and Battery and Disorderly Conduct.

Police arrived outside Matt Murphy’s Pub and witnessed a group of males wrestling on the sidewalk. Police started questioning suspects and one suspect later identified as Slavisa Dincik fled the scene while being questioned. Police found Dincik a short time later and he was subsequently arrested.

• Occurred at 11:19PM (10/31)- Washington Street/ Greenough Street

An operator was arrested and charged with Operating Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquors and other various traffic offenses.

While an officer was on his way to the station he was passed by a vehicle bearing flashing blue lights in its front and rear, these lights were acting quite similar to a siren. The vehicle traveled over the double yellow line to pass vehicles and was also speeding.

Summons

• Occurred at 10:15PM (10/31)- 335 Harvard Street

A Brookline High School Student will be summonsed to court for Minor in Possession of Alcohol and Possession of a Class D Substance (Marijuana). Police responded to a call of kids throwing eggs and upon arrival discovered the juvenile suspect who consented to a search of his backpack which contained several full cans of beer, a bag of a green leafy substance believed to be Marijuana in addition to a glass pipe and Marijuana grinder.

Assault

• Occurred between 8:40PM and 8:53PM (10/31)- 209 Aspinwall Avenue

Victim reported that while walking to the front steps of his apartment building he was approached by two white males both wearing hooded sweatshirts with bandanas covering their faces, the two men assaulted the victim by repeatedly punching and kicking him then fled towards Kent Street. Police canvassed the area for suspects but were unable to find the men; this case is still under investigation
