July 27th – 28th
Occurred 8:21 PM (7/27) – Beacon St. / Park Dr.
While patrolling, officers observed a vehicle that was being operated without an inspection and executed a traffic stop. Upon identifying the driver and passenger of the vehicle, officers discovered the passenger had an active arrest warrant. The driver was advised of the driving violation and the passenger was subsequently placed under arrest for the warrant.
Robbery
Occurred 12:29 AM (7/27) – Chestnut St.
Police responded to a report of a robbery. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated that while walking home, three males exited a van and assaulted him. The victim described the suspects as black males in their late twenties to early thirties wearing dark clothing, driving a blue Dodge Caravan. The suspects took the victims wallet, which contained $40 in cash and fled the scene. Police were unable to locate the suspects but a follow up investigation is being conducted.
Malicious Damage
Occurred 4:16 AM (7/27) – White Pl.
Police responded to a report of malicious damage. The victim stated that when he woke up, he discovered his bike missing from the first floor hallway of his apartment building where he left it unlocked. Upon inspection, the victim found the bike across the street from his residence with both tires slashed and the handlebars damaged. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred between 1:00 PM and 1:18 PM (7/27) – Ivy St.
Police responded to a report of malicious damage of a motor vehicle. Upon arrival, officers were notified that a student from a school for the disabled broke a front windshield of a vehicle during a violent outburst. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred between 5:15 PM (7/26) and 9:00 AM (7/27) – Kent St.
Police responded to a report of malicious damage of a local business. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the owner who stated that when she got in that morning, she observed markings carved onto the front door. She further told officers that she does not have anyone in particular in mind that could have caused the damage. Police are following up on the case.
Larceny
Occurred between 6:47 PM (7/20) and 6:47 PM (7/26) – Kendall St.
Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim stated that sometime in the past week her laptop, IPod, and computer accessories have gone missing from her home. She informed officers that she and her son are the only ones with apartment keys and there were no signs of forced entry into her apartment. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred 6:18 PM (7/28) – Beacon St.
Police responded to a report of a shoplifter. The reporting party stated that while she was working a subject came into the store and took 3 shirts and 4 jeans valuing at $689 without paying. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’7 and 50 years of age with a slim build and reddish medium length hair. Police were unable to locate the suspect but are conducting a follow up investigation.
Occurred between 11:28 PM (5/01) and 11:28 PM (7/28) – Newton St.
Police responded to a report of a larceny at a school. The reporting party stated that while he was conducting an inventory of the school’s lab, he discovered that his personal laptop computer had been stolen. He informed officers that he last used the laptop a few months ago. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM (7/27) – Greenough St.
Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim stated that while stepping out for lunch at work he left his brown Northface hiking bag in a vacant, unlocked classroom. Upon returning to the room, he discovered his bag was missing. The bag contained an IPod, notebooks, art supplies, and the victim’s house keys. Several of the victim’s items were subsequently located except for the IPod and bag. Police are following up on the case.
Breaking and Entering and Larceny of a Motor Vehicle
Occurred between 7:30 PM and 9:27 PM (7/27) – Kent St.
Police responded to a breaking and entering and larceny from a motor vehicle. The reporting person stated that as she was walking along the street, she noticed a window to a black BMW has been smashed. Officers contacted the owner of the vehicle who stated that he had parked his vehicle about two hours prior and did not notice any damage. Items reported stolen include a Garmin GPS and IPod Nano. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred between 1:45 PM and 7:20 PM (7/28) – Brookline Ave. / Parkway Rd.
Police responded to a breaking and entering and larceny from a motor vehicle. The victim stated that while his vehicle was parked, an unknown suspect smashed his passenger side window. Items taken from the vehicle include a Garmin GPS and some loose change. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred between 2:00 PM and 7:20 PM (7/28) – Parkway Rd. / Brookline Ave.
Police responded to a breaking and entering and larceny from a motor vehicle. The victim stated that upon returning to her parked vehicle, she discovered her passenger side window had been smashed. Upon closer examination, she found several items missing from the vehicle including her wallet and a personal bag containing a license, cosmetic bag, $20, credit cards, personal papers, and a work ID and pager. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred between 11:15 AM and 12:50 PM (7/28) – Allerton St. / Glen Rd.
Police responded to a breaking and entering and larceny from a motor vehicle. The victim stated that upon returning to her parked vehicle, she discovered damage to the front passenger side window and items missing from the vehicle. Items reported stolen include a Tom Tom GPS along with accessories, pair of boy’s sneakers, and a vacuum cleaner. Police are following up on the case.
Breaking and Entering of a Motor Vehicle
Occurred between 8:00 AM and 2:32 PM (7/28) – Washington St. / Holden St.
Police responded to a report of suspicious activity. Upon arrival, officers observed a vehicle with a smashed passenger’s side rear window. The owner of the vehicle was immediately located and informed of the incident. The victim examined her vehicle and reported that no items were missing. Police are following up on the case.
Burglary
Occurred between 6:30 PM (7/27) and 9:40 AM (7/28) – Beacon St.
Police responded to a report of a burglary of a local business. The reporting party stated that when another employee came into work that morning, they discovered a lamp knocked over and a table moved out of place. The reporting party believes that the suspect used the rear window as the point of entry and exit from the building. Items reported missing include $250 in cash from the register and a laptop computer approximately worth $700. Police are following up on the case.

July 24th – 26th
Arrest
Occurred 3:35 PM (7/24) –
Police responded to check on the well being of a person who may have been sick or injured. Upon arrival, officers observed a subject sitting in bushes and inhaling a chemical cleaner. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest without incident and charged with inhaling a substance with a toxic vapor.
Fraud
Occurred between 12:00 AM (11/19/08) and 12:00 AM (7/24) –
Police responded to a report of a past identity fraud. The victim stated that he had been contacted by a debt collecting agency who notified him that he owed $514.56 for a cell phone account. The victim had no knowledge of this account and informed officers that he reported suspicious activity on his credit report in 2008. Police are following up on the case.
Larceny
Occurred between 8:00 PM (6/18) and 8:00 AM (6/21) – Mason Tr.
Police responded to a report of an attempted larceny of a motor scooter. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated that she noticed damage to her ignition and handlebars about one week ago and sent it to a repair shop. The mechanic informed the victim that the damage done to her scooter was consistent with someone trying to steal it. Police are following up on the case.
Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim stated that about a week ago she took her wedding and engagement rings off and placed them on a ring holder above her sink. When she went to put them back on, she discovered both rings missing. The items missing are worth approximately $32,000. There are no signs of a forced entry and no other items are missing at this time. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred between 9:45 AM and 10:00 AM (7/24) –
Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim stated that while working, she left her purse unattended in her office and when she returned, it was gone. Items reported stolen include a cell phone, house and car keys, and a wallet containing credit cards, checks, and a license. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred between 4:00 PM (7/24) and 5:32 AM (7/25) –
While on patrol, officers observed a parked vehicle with a smashed driver’s window. Upon further inspection officers noticed that bolts were removed from the rear door and the door was hanging off. Officers immediately located the owner of the vehicle and informed her of the damage. No items were reported missing at this time. Police are following up on the case.
Burglary
Police responded to a report of a commercial break. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting person who stated that when she entered her workplace, she discovered items strewn across the floor. Items reported stolen include three laptops, a computer monitor, and a 14” TV monitor. A window screen and window were found broken which officers believe to be the point of entry and exit. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred between 3:00 PM and 5:30 PM (7/24) –
Police responded to a report of a past breaking and entering. The reporting party stated that after being home for approximately 30 minutes, he went into his kitchen and found the back door lock on the floor. Upon further inspection, the victim found the door frame of the back door broken also. Nothing was reported missing at this time.
Occurred between 6:00 PM (7/25) and 6:30 AM (7/26) –
Police responded to a report of a burglary. Upon arrival, the victim told officers that her bike had been stolen from the foyer of her apartment building. She last noticed the bike the previous night and discovered it missing when she stepped out the following morning. The bike was left unlocked and is described as a woman's blue and white Roadmaster Mountain Sport’s bike, valued at $80. Police are following up on the case.
Malicious Damage
Police responded to a report of malicious damage. The reporting person stated that when she returned home to her apartment, she discovered her rear door smashed. The victim informed police that she does not know of anyone who may have caused the damage. Police are following up on the case.
Graffiti
Occurred between 9:32 AM and 9:40 (7/26) –
Police responded to a report of graffiti. Upon arrival, officers observed graffiti written in white paint on two stop signs. Police are following up on the case.
July 22nd – 23rd
Occurred between 2:33 AM and 4:13 AM (7/22) – Summit Ave. / City View Rd.
While patrolling, officers observed a subject in a vehicle and became suspicious of his activity. Upon questioning, officers detected a strong odor of marijuana coming from the subject. After a brief investigation officers found several controlled substances on the subjects and in the vehicle. Both parties were subsequently placed under arrest for possession of narcotics.
Occurred 1:36 PM (7/22) – Beacon St.
Police responded to a report of an intoxicated person. Upon identifying the subject, officers discovered an active arrest warrant for the subject. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for the existing warrant.
Occurred 8:28 PM (7/22) – Buswell St. / Park Dr.
While patrolling, officers observed a known person in a vehicle. Upon checking his license status officers discovered that his right to operate a motor vehicle in Mass had been suspended. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for operating after suspension.
Occurred 3:03 AM (7/23) – Brook St. / Hurd Rd.
While on patrol, officers became suspicious of a group of male subjects riding bikes in an area known for recent bicycle thefts. Upon investigation, officers found bolt cutters on one of the subjects and stolen bikes in the possession of two of the subjects. Two of the subjects were subsequently placed under arrest for receiving stolen property.
Larceny
Occurred 11:02 AM (7/22) – Harvard St.
Police responded to a report of a shoplifter in custody of a local retail store. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the store employee who stated that he observed the subject try to remove a security tag off of an item and leave the store. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for shoplifting.
Occurred between 12:58 PM and 1:01 PM (7/23) – Harvard St.
Police responded to a report of a larceny at a local restaurant. The victim stated that while she was placing her order, she left her bank deposit bag at the counter. When she returned later, the bag was missing which contained approximately $630 in cash and a $50 check. The store manager informed officers that he did catch two suspects on surveillance video taking the bag. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred between 2:00 PM and 2:25 PM (7/23) – Washington St.
Police responded to a report of a larceny. Upon arrival, the victim informed officers that two pairs of his shoes, valued around $1,000 were stolen. He stated that he left both pairs briefly outside on his porch to dry and upon returning discovered them missing. Police are following up on the case.
Forgery
Occurred between 8:51 PM (7/19) and 9:14 AM (7/22) – Harvard St.
Police responded to a report of a forgery. Upon arrival, officers were informed that a female subject attempted to use a forged Traveler’s Cheque and fled the store. Officers located the subject and subsequently placed her under arrest.
Malicious Damage
Occurred between 7:00 PM (7/22) and 7:30 AM (7/23) – St. Paul St.
Police responded to a report of malicious damage. The victim stated that he parked his car in the private lot of his building the previous night and when he returned, he discovered the windshield had been smashed. Police are following up on the case.

July 20th – 21st
Occurred between 2:00 AM and 3:00 PM (7/19) – Boylston St.
Police executed a traffic stop for a driving violation. Upon identifying the driver, officers discovered that he did not have a valid Massachusetts’s license to operate a motor vehicle. The operator was subsequently placed under arrest for driving without a license and further charged with speeding.
Occurred 1:20 PM (7/20) – Harvard St.
Police responded to a report of shoplifters. Upon arrival, officers were able to locate both suspects and recover $258 worth of stolen property. Both suspects were subsequently placed under arrest for shoplifting.
Occurred between 11:05 AM and 11:30 AM (7/21) – Thatcher St.
Police responded to a report of a male with an active arrest warrant. Upon arrival, officers observed drug paraphernalia in plain view and were informed by the suspect that he and the two other male parties present had just used narcotics. All parties were subsequently placed under arrest.
Malicious Damage
Occurred 7:05 AM (7/20) – Babcock St.
Police responded to a report of malicious damage. The victim stated that her vehicle had been damaged by use of a sharp object. The four foot scratch went along the victim’s driver’s side door and rear quarter panel. The victim provided several leads which the police are following up.
Larceny
Occurred between 7:00 AM (7/01) and 12:51 AM (7/20) – Pond Ave.
Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim stated that over $6,000 was stolen from his condominium unit which he had left on his dining room table and in his dresser drawer in his bedroom. The victim is the only one with a key to his residence and does not have a roommate or friends that come over on a regular basis. He is concerned that a member part of the condominium staff entered his unit when the money was taken. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred between 6:00 PM (7/19) and 9:25 AM (7/20) – Park St.
Police responded to a report of a larceny. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated that he parked his bike the previous night by the back door of his building. When he returned the following morning, the bike was gone. The bike is described as a white bicycle valued around $40.
Occurred between 8:00 AM (7/19) and 8:00 AM (7/20) – Kent St.
Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim stated that her bicycle and market tent had been stolen from the laundry area of her building. She further told officers that she stored the items in the basement three weeks ago and recalls seeing them the previous day. Officers were told that the only people with access to the room are other residents of the apartment complex. The bike is described as a women’s specialized mountain bike. Police are following up on the case.
Graffiti
Occurred between 1:30 PM (7/19) and 8:00 AM (7/20) – University Rd.
Police responded to a report of graffiti. The reporting person stated that he found graffiti on the rear door of his property. The suspect tagged the door in two separate places using a silver and white marker. Police are following up on the case.
Breaking and Entering and Larceny of a Motor Vehicle
Police responded to a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The victim stated that sometime during the evening someone smashed the front passenger window of his vehicle and removed personal items. Items reported missing include a Palm Treo Pro cell phone, Dell laptop computer and accessories, digital camera, MP3 player, and suitcase. Police are following up on the case.

July 16th – 19th
Arrest
Police executed a traffic stop for a driving violation. Upon identifying the driver, officers discovered that the driver’s right to operate a motor vehicle had been suspended. The driver was subsequently placed under arrest for operating after suspension and further charged with failure to obey pavement markings and operating an unregistered vehicle on a public way.
Police responded to a report of a shoplifter. Upon arrival, officers were notified that the suspect was being detained in the store. The reporting person stated that he witnessed the suspect take the plastic wrapper off of a DVD case and put it back on the shelf as soon as he realized he was being watched. The suspect was subsequently placed under arrest for shoplifting.
Graffiti
Police responded to a report of graffiti. The reporting person stated that graffiti was drawn on his company truck and caught the suspect on video surveillance. Officers were shown the footage and witnessed the suspect draw graffiti on the vehicle. Police are following up on the case.
Malicious Damage
Police responded to a report of malicious damage. The reporting person stated that as she was stopped at a red light, she beeped her horn at another driver who she believed was driving recklessly. The driver then pulled over his vehicle, approached the victim and kicked her passenger side rear view mirror knocking it off the base. The victim was able to provide police with a description of the suspect. Police are following up on the case.
Police responded to a report of past malicious damage. The reporting person stated that upon entering her den, she observed broken glass and discovered a small piece of concrete had been thrown through one of the windows at the front of her house. Police are following up on the case.
Larceny
Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim stated that he discovered his garden hose missing from his property. He last saw the hose one week ago on the left side of his house. The victim described the hose as a green colored garden hose approximately 50 feet long, worth about $25. Police are following up on the case.
Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim stated that his bicycle was stolen from a bike rack next to his residence. The bike was last seen by the victim four days prior and is described as a black and gray Shwinn Lakeshore Cruiser, valued around $170. Police are following up on the case.
Police responded to a report of a past larceny. The victim reported that while attending football practice at Cypress Field the previous day, his sport’s bag was stolen. He described the bag as a small blue sport’s bag with the logo Citizens Bank in white lettering on the back with thin string shoulder straps. The bag contained an I-Pod Touch, An Envy Touch cell phone, and the victim’s house key. Police are following up on the case.
Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim reported that while in a local coffee shop, he forgot his wallet on the counter. The wallet contained $340, several credit cards, a license, and personal papers. Upon investigation, officers spoke with the shop’s manager who stated that he may be able to obtain a photo of the suspect taking the wallet through surveillance footage. Police are following up on the case.
Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim stated that he left his bicycle chained to a bike rack with a combination lock in front of a store. When he returned, he discovered the bike missing and the lock on the ground. The bike is described as a yellow specialized Hybrid with wrap around handle bars, a yellow and black seat, and a white light on the front, valued around $1500. Police are following up on the case.
Police responded to a report of a past larceny. The reporting person, a store employee, stated that while conducting an evening inventory he discovered a black Motorola Droid cell phone, valued around $599.99 had been stolen from the display wall. Officers were also informed that the display wall is on store surveillance. Police are following up on the case.
Burglary
Police responded to a report of a commercial break. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting party who stated that his office was broken into sometime over the weekend in which 200 coins were stolen. Upon inspection, officers observed pry marks on the entrance door and damage to the door’s lock. The victim told officers that the maintenance personnel and two of his secretaries also had access to the office. Police are following up on the case.

July 14th – 15th
Occurred 9:57 PM (7/14) – Beacon St.
Police responded to a report of a “peeping tom”. Upon arrival, officers observed the subject with an unbuckled belt and an undone zipper. Officers spoke with the reporting party who stated that while she was inside her apartment she saw the subject on the window ledge looking into her apartment. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for disorderly conduct and Town by law “Peeping”.
Fraud
Occurred between 9:29 AM (7/13) and 9:29 AM (7/14) – South St.
Police responded to a report of fraud. The victim reported that an unauthorized withdrawal from her bank account was made. She further stated that she has had possession of her card and has no idea who obtained her information. Police are following up on the case.
Graffiti
Occurred between 9:30 PM (7/13) and 8:20 AM (7/14) – Harvard St.
Police responded to a report of graffiti. The reporting person stated that there was graffiti on his store’s front window that wasn’t there the previous night. Police are following up on the case.
Burglary
Occurred between 10:00 PM (7/12) and 8:00 AM (7/13) – John St.
Police responded to a report of a past burglary. The reporting person stated that her husband’s bicycle was last seen Monday night in their basement and was missing the next morning. Upon inspection, officers found no sign of forced entry to either of the basement doors. Police are following up on the case.
Larceny
Occurred between 12:00 PM (7/13) and 12:00 PM (7/14) – Beacon St.
Police responded to a report of a larceny. The reporting persons stated that two lawn chairs were stolen from their side yard. They described the chairs as black framed lawn chairs with tan colored mesh backing valued at $35 each. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred between 2:30 PM and 5:00 PM (7/13) – Catlin Rd.
Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim stated that an unknown suspect had stolen an antique table from the common area of her condominium. The table was described as a wooden Sheraton style with a small drawer on the right hand side worth about 5,000 dollars. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred 4:05 PM (7/14) – Beacon St.
Police responded to a report of a larceny. The reporting person stated that an "I Phone 4", valued at $699, had been stolen from her place of employment. She believes the cell phone was taken by a male subject who had been inside the store. Officers reviewed surveillance footage and observed the subject travelling directly to where the I Phone was and run out of the store after the alarm sounded. Police were unable to locate the suspect but are conducting a follow-up investigation.
Occurred between 10:30 AM (7/14) and 8:26 AM (7/15) – Stedman St.
Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim stated that her bike had been on her front porch the previous night and when she returned the following morning, she discovered it missing. She described the bike as a Gray Treck 7.5 mountain bike valued around $600 dollars. Police are following up on the case.

Arrest
Occurred 11:50 AM (7/12) –
Police executed a traffic stop for a driving violation. Upon identifying the driver, it was discovered that he was not licensed to operate a motor vehicle. The operator was subsequently placed under arrest for being not duly licensed.
While on patrol, officers observed a subject familiar to them. Officers recognized the subject as someone with an active out of state arrest warrant. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for being a fugitive from justice.

While patrolling, officers observed a vehicle with a left brake light out and executed a traffic stop. Upon identifying the driver, it was discovered that she had no status with the registry of motor vehicles and did not have a driver’s license. The operator was subsequently placed under arrest for being not duly licensed.
Police executed a traffic stop for a driving violation. Upon identifying the driver, officers discovered that the operator had a revoked car registration and suspended driver’s license. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for operating after suspension.
Larceny
Occurred between 9:00 AM and 9:30 AM (7/12) – Cypress St.
Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim stated that while he was in his house, he left his bike unlocked in his back yard. When he returned, his bike was gone. The bike is described as a green Trek Men’s mountain bike. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred between10:00 PM and 8:00 AM (7/12) –
Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim reported that his bicycle was stolen while chained to a stop sign from the sidewalk in front of his apartment building. He last saw his bike, a yellow men’s 26” 18 speed Diamondback mountain bike, the previous night. Police are following up on the case.
Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim stated that someone took her pocketbook while she was sitting down at a local restaurant. The pocketbook is described as a gray Coach with stripes and black at both ends containing the victim’s personal information and several other items. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred 4:25 PM (7/13) –
Police responded to a report of an attempted larceny. The reporting person stated that twenty minutes prior to officers’ arrival, she observed a subject at her desk looking out the window towards the play area. She described the subject as a 6’2 heavy set Hispanic male, approximately 25 years of age with short dark straight hair. She further stated that the subject had picked up and moved several items in her classroom. Police are following up on the case.
Fraud
Occurred 8:54 PM (7/12) –
Police responded to a report of identity theft. The victim stated that someone had filed his 2009 taxes. The victim had been out of town and when he returned, he received letters from the IRS regarding his tax return that was filed in January. The victim further stated that he has yet to file a tax return for 2009. Police are following up on the case.
Police responded to a report of fraud. The victim stated that her bank had informed her that there was some abnormal activity on two of her bank accounts. The victim discovered that four separate withdrawals were made from the accounts. Police are following up on the case.
Graffiti
Occurred 3:27 PM (7/13) –
Police responded to a report of malicious damage to a building sign. The reporting person showed officers a sign behind a building that was spray painted with graffiti. Police are following up on the case.

Occurred 12:24 PM (7/09) – Longwood Ave. / Kent St.
Police responded to a report of indecent exposure. The reporting person stated that the subject was walking around the area with nothing but a button down shirt covering him. He described the subject as a white male with white hair and a beard. Upon Arrival, officers observed a man walking with no pants on. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for indecent exposure and disorderly conduct.

Occurred between 12:30 PM and 1:35 PM (7/09) – Longwood Ave.
Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The victim stated that he left his car parked for approximately one hour and left the windows partially opened. When he returned to his car, he discovered his car unlocked, items thrown on the passenger seat, and loose change missing. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred 8:19 PM (7/09) – Eliot St.
Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting persons stated that as they were in the house, they saw a black male trying door handles to vehicles. They further witnessed the suspect enter the passenger side of a vehicle and immediately contacted the car’s owner. The victim reported that nothing was missing from his vehicle except a couple of dollars in quarters. Police are following up on the case.
Larceny
Occurred 2:50 PM (7/09) – Greenough St.
Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim stated that she had left her wallet and cell phone under her chair during a class break and when she came back, both items were gone. The victim provided police with several leads which the police are in the process of following up.
Occurred between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM (7/10) – Harvard St.
Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim reported that while she was working, her purse was stolen. She had placed her purse under a chair located at the front of the store and when she returned, she discovered several items missing including her wallet, MA driver’s license, $300 cash, and two credit cards. Police are following up on the case.
Arrest
Occurred 2:59 PM (7/09) – Harris St.
Police responded to a report of suspicious activity inside of a building garage. The reporting person stated that there were two suspicious white males inside of the parking garage. Upon arrival, officers identified the subjects and discovered that one of the males had an active arrest warrant. That subject was subsequently placed under arrest.
Occurred 8:25 AM (7/10) – Beacon St.
Police responded to a report of a male subject disturbing the peace. Firefighters informed police that the sprinkler system was not working at the subject’s residence and due to safety reasons; they need to keep the front door to the building open in case of an emergency. Firefighters contacted the police because they were concerned that the subject would shut and lock the door which would endanger the well being of the building’s residents. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for disturbing the peace and hindering a firefighter.
Malicious Damage
Occurred 11:17 PM (7/11) – Centre St. Lot West
Police responded to a report of malicious damage. While patrolling, officers observed a white male in an alleyway holding a can of spray paint and writing on a wooden fence. Upon further inspection, officers observed a second subject who had two cans of spray paint and two black markers in his possession. Both subjects were subsequently placed under arrest for Tagging.
