Monday, October 11

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers were called to Village Way for a report of package thefts. The reporting party stated they were awakened by sounds outside and noticed two individuals opening packages outside. The matter is under investigation.

MV THEFT - Officers responded to a report of a theft of a motorcycle on Winchester St. The reporting party stated they left the motorcycle outside and noticed it missing. It has since been located. The matter is under investigation.

CAR BREAK - Officers were called to Longwood Av for a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they found the center console and glove box emptied inside the vehicle, although nothing appeared to be missing. The matter is under investigation. 

CAR BREAK - Officers responded to Beacon St for a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they noticed the car had been rummaged through and items were missing. The matter is under investigation.


Tuesday, October 12

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers were called to Eliot Av for a report of a package theft. The reporting party stated they received confirmation of the delivery, but it was gone by the time they returned home. The matter is under investigation.

MV THEFT - Officers received a report of a motor vehicle theft on Commonwealth Av. The matter is under investigation.

FOUND PROPERTY - Officers responded to Boylston St for a report of abandoned bicycles. They have been taken to the station for safe keeping.


Wednesday, October 13

FRAUD - Officers were called to Longwood Av for a report of a fraud. The reporting party stated they received a call from an individual claiming they were a customer representative from Amazon and that there was a problem with the party's account. They requested the party buy gift cards and give them the codes. The matter is under investigation. 

FRAUD - Officers took a report for a past larceny and forgery. The reporting party stated a check had been taken from their checkbook then later cashed. The matter is under investigation.


Thursday, October 14

FRAUD - Officers took a report for a past fraud. The reporting party stated a check had been cashed without their knowledge or permission. The matter is under investigation.

LARCENY - Officers were called to Gerry Rd for a report of a larceny. The reporting party stated they secured items in a storage box, and when they returned, the box had been pried opened and the property removed. The matter is under investigation.

SHOPLIFTING - Officers responded to a call on Commonwealth Av for a report of shoplifting. The reporting party stated that they witnessed an individual conceal items on their persons and then leave the store. The individual has been placed under arrest.


Friday, October 15

FRAUD - Officers were called to Cypress St for a report of a past fraud. The reporting party stated an individual fraudulently used a credit card, reading out the numbers after the chip was denied several times. The matter is under investigation

FRAUD - Officers responded to a call on Marion St for a report of a fraud. The reporting party stated that they were notified that their social security number was used to open a bank account without their knowledge or permission. The matter is under investigation.


Saturday, October 16

LARCENY - Officers were called to Harvard St for a report of a past larceny. The reporting party stated that they left their bag unattended on a table, and when they returned, it was gone. The matter is under investigation.

SHOPLIFTING - Officers responded to Harvard St for a report of shoplifting. The reporting party stated an individual was witnessed concealing items in multiple bags, and when they were confronted, they fled with most of the items. The matter is under investigation.


Sunday, October 17

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY - Officers were called to Beacon St for an attempted robbery. The victim stated an individual approached them from behind, pulled out a knife, and demanded their belongings. The suspect then kicked the victim and fled without taking any property. The matter is under investigation.
