On June 29, a man came into the police station to report a past larceny. The reporting party stated that a package had been confirmed as delivered to his home on Franklin St. on Wednesday 6/20 but he never received it.

An officer responded to a residence on Stearns Rd. for a report of stolen packages. The reporting parties stated that they have had 7 packages stolen between 6/19-6/28. The incidents are being investigated.

On June 30, an officer was dispatched to Freeman St. for a report of a stolen bicycle. The reporting party stated that her Trek bike had been stolen from her garage on 6/29. The incident is under investigation.

In the afternoon of June 30, officers were dispatched to Lee St. for a motor vehicle crash involving two vehicles. While speaking with one of the drivers, officers could detect an odor of alcohol and observed the female with slow and slurred speech and difficulties maintaining her balance. The woman was placed under arrest for Operating Under the Influence, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, and a Marked Lanes Violation. During an inventory of the vehicle, officers located a bottle of alcohol under the front passenger seat. The woman is also being charged with one count of having an Open Container in a Vehicle.


Officers were dispatched to the area of Naples Rd. and Gibbs St. after dispatch received a call stating a male had just tagged a mailbox in that area. Officers located a male matching the description and initiated a field stop. The man admitted to tagging trash cans and consented to a search of his backpack. During their search, officers located several ounces of marijuana as well as a scale. The man was placed under arrest and is being charged with 2 counts of Vandalizing Property/Tagging and 1 count of Possession of a Class D Drug with Intent to Distribute.
