Police Reports 5/4-5/7

Arrest: Occurred on 5/6 at 6:40 PM- Harvard St.

A vehicle made an illegal U-turn on Harvard St. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Harvard St. A query of the driver’s information revealed that he had an active warrant out of Dorchester District Court. The operator was placed under arrest for the warrant.

Arrest: Occurred on 5/5 at 5:50 AM- St. Paul St./ Longwood Ave.

A query of a vehicle’s information revealed that the registration and the registered owner’s license were both revoked. The officer conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of St. Paul St. and Longwood Avenue. The driver was confirmed to be the registered owner and he was placed under arrest for Operating after Revocation.

OUIL: Occurred on 5/5 at 1:09 AM- Boylston St.

A vehicle was traveling on Boylston St. at a high rate of speed. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Boylston St. Upon reaching the driver’s window, the officer could detect an odor of alcohol emanating from the vehicle. Based on the observations, the driver was placed under arrest for Operating Under the Influence of Liquor.

Burglary: Occurred on 5/4 between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM- Washington St.

A Washington St. resident reported a breaking and entering. The victim stated that when the residents returned home, they discovered that someone had entered the house and rummaged through several bedrooms. Items were reported stolen from several bedrooms throughout the residence. It appears that the suspect entered through an unlocked side door.

Burglary: Occurred on 5/6 between 12:30 PM and 3:30 PM- Stanton Rd.

A Stanton Rd. resident reported a breaking and entering. The victim stated that she had been gardening in front of her home for several hours. When she went back inside she noticed that her pocketbook was missing. The victim stated that she found her pocketbook in the backyard but several items were stolen. The rear door of the home was unlocked at the time of the breaking and entering.

Police Reports 5/3-5/4

Arrest: Occurred on 5/4 at 2:04 AM- Beacon St.

A query of a vehicle’s information revealed that the registration was expired. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Beacon St. A query of the driver’s information revealed that his right to operate in Massachusetts was suspended. The driver was placed under arrest for Operating after Suspension.

Arrest: Occurred on 5/4 at 1:24 AM- Boylston St.

A vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed on Boylston St. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Boylston St. A query of the driver’s information revealed that his license was suspended. The driver was placed under arrest for Operating after Suspension.

Police Reports 5/1-5/3

Arrest: Occurred on 5/3 at 2:16 AM- Harvard St.

A query of a vehicle’s information revealed that the registered owner had a default warrant out of Lowell District Court. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Harvard St. The driver was confirmed to be the registered owner and he was placed under arrest for the warrant.

A vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed on Boylston St. The officer conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Boylston St. and Hammond St. Upon reaching the driver’s window, the officer could detect an odor of alcohol emanating from the driver. Based on the observations, the driver was placed under arrest for Operating Under the Influence of Liquor.

Arrest: Occurred on 5/2 at 7:03 PM- Harvard St.

A vehicle made and illegal U-turn on Harvard St. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Harvard St. A query of the driver’s information revealed that her license was suspended. The driver was placed under arrest for Operating after Suspension.

Burglary: Occurred on 5/2- Gerry Rd.

A Gerry Rd. resident reported a burglary. The victim stated that when he returned to his house he discovered that the front door of the residence was unlocked and the back door was wide open. Both doors were locked when he had left the house. The victim checked the house and discovered that two computers had been removed from a bedroom. There were no signs of forcible entry.

Arrest: Occurred on 5/2 at 9:55 AM- High St.

An officer conducted a traffic stop on High St. A query of the vehicle’s information revealed that the registration was expired. The query also revealed that the operator had an active warrant out of Brookline District Court. The driver was placed under arrest for the warrant.

Arrest: Occurred on 5/1 at 10:51 PM- Harvard St.

An officer observed two males walking on Harvard St. acting suspiciously. The males repeatedly turned their heads in a nervous manner when they observed the police vehicle. One of the males began to run and the other male turned around and began to walk away. The officer stopped the subjects to conduct a threshold inquiry. A query of the subjects information revealed that one of the individuals had a default warrant out of Somerville District Court. The subject was placed under arrest for the warrant. After a search of his person, the arrestee will also be charged with Possession of an Unlawful Weapon.

Arrest: Occurred on 5/1 at 10:19 PM- Boylston St.

A vehicle was traveling on Boylston St. at a high rate of speed. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Boylston St. A query of the driver’s information revealed that his license was suspended. The driver was placed under arrest for Operating after Suspension.

Arrest: Occurred on 5/1 at 4:38 PM- Beacon St.

A query of a vehicle’s information revealed that the registered owner had an outstanding warrant out of Somerville District Court. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Beacon St. The operator was confirmed to be the registered owner and he was placed under arrest for the warrant.

Police Reports 4/30-5/1

Assault: Occurred on 4/30 at 7:44 PM- Beacon St.

Officers made three arrests for an assault that started on the MBTA Red Line and MBTA Green Line and ended in Brookline. The investigation is ongoing.

Shoplifting: Occurred on 4/30 at 1:27 PM- Harvard St.

A Stop and Shop employee reported a shoplifter. The employee stated that he observed a subject on surveillance who removed an item from the store shelf, leave the store without paying, and come back into to return the item. The subject was placed under arrest for Shoplifting. After a search of his person, the subject will also be charged with possession of heroin.

Trespassing: Occurred on 4/30 at 4:00 PM- Washington St.

A Town Hall employee reported a male subject who refused to leave the Payroll office. The employee asked the subject to leave because the office was closing for the day. The police informed the subject that he would be placed under arrest if he did not leave and allow the employee to close the office. The subject refused to leave and was placed under arrest for Trespassing.
