Police Reports 2/7-2/8

Arrest: Occurred on 2/8 at 2:40 PM- Huntington Ave.

A vehicle was traveling on Washington St. with an expired inspection sticker. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Huntington Ave. A query of the operator revealed that the driver had a suspended license, as well as a default warrant out of W. Roxbury District Court. The driver was placed under arrest and issued a citation for Operating after suspension and Expired Inspection Sticker.

Larceny: Occurred on 2/7 between 1:15 and 7:00 PM- Beacon St.

A Beacon St. resident reported a package theft. The victim stated that a package had been confirmed delivered to the front foyer of his residence, however the package was missing when he returned home.

Arrest: Occurred on 2/7- Cypress St./ Rice St.

Officers observed a subject acting suspicious in the area of Park St. and Marion St. Upon seeing the officers, the subject turned and covered his face, appearing to hide his identity. Officers continued to observe the subject as he walked to Cypress St. and Rice St., continuously looking over his shoulder. The officers conducted a field interview, and a query revealed that the subject had a default warrant out of Suffolk Superior Court. The subject was placed under arrest.
