Police observed a motor vehicle with defective headlights and executed a traffic stop. As a result of the motor vehicle stop, officers discovered marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle and placed the driver under arrest for possession of class D with intent to distribute, school zone violation, and for operating with defective equipment.
Occurred between 4:33 PM and 5:00 PM (11/16) – Harvard St.
Police executed a traffic stop for a driving violation. Upon identifying the driver, officers discovered that she was operating with an expired Mass. driver’s license. Police subsequently placed the driver under arrest for being not duly licensed.
Breaking and Entering and Larceny of a Motor Vehicle
Occurred between 10:00 PM (11/15) and 8:53 AM (11/16) – Dudley St.
Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering and larceny from a motor vehicle. The victim stated that when he returned to his parked vehicle during the morning hours, he discovered his front passenger side window smashed and his wallet and briefcase missing. Police filed a report and are following up on the case.
Occurred between 11:00 PM (11/15) and 7:15 AM (11/16) – Clyde St.
Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering and larceny from a motor vehicle. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated that his front passenger side window had been smashed and his vehicle had been entered. After a brief investigation, police were able to recover most of the victim’s stolen items except for cash and a pair of sunglasses. A report was filed.
Malicious Damage
Occurred between 8:00 PM and 11:00 PM (11/13) – Dwight St.
Police responded to a report of malicious damage. Officers met with the victim who stated that when he went to move his vehicle from the street to his private parking spot, he discovered damage to his vehicle’s roof. Officers observed a scratch on the roof in the design of a rectangle with an X in the center. Police filed a report and are following up on the case.
Burglary
Occurred between 5:00 PM and 5:10 PM (11/16) – Gibbs St.
Police responded to a report of an attempted burglary from a local residence. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated that while he was watching a movie in, an unknown male opened the front window and leaned his upper body into the window. At this time, the victim confronted him and the suspect fled. Police are following up on the case.
Larceny
Occurred between 3:09 AM and 3:11 AM (11/17) – Washington St.
Police responded to a report of an activated alarm at a local business. Upon arrival, officers discovered a glass window removed and a broken door handle and contacted the owner of the business. The owner informed police that there was video surveillance footage which captured a black male, approximately 25-30 years of age, 5’10”, 160 lbs, with a face-shaved head break into the store and steal about 20 packs of cigarettes. Police are processing evidence and following up on the case.

Police responded to a report of a larceny from a local business. The victim stated that a large portion of copper plating had been stolen from his building’s rooftop. Police filed a report and are following up on the case.
Occurred 1:37 PM (11/17) – Beacon St.
Police responded to a report of a shoplifter at a local store. Upon arrival, officers spoke with employees who stated that a customer had come into the store with a complaint about a previous cell phone case purchase. Employees attempted to settle the matter, but the male subject was unsatisfied with the results and stole a cell phone case from the store. Police are reviewing surveillance footage and are following up on the case.

Arrest
Occurred between 7:30 PM and 7:35 PM (11/15) – Beacon St.
Police responded to a report of a two car motor vehicle accident. Upon investigating the accident, officers detected a strong odor of alcohol emanating from one of the driver’s and observed her to be unsteady on her feet. Based on officers’ observations, the driver was placed under arrest for operating under the influence of liquor.
Larceny
Occurred between 1:00 PM and 1:30 PM (11/14) – Tappan St.
Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim stated that while he was at the local swimming pool, several items were stolen from his wallet which he had left inside a locker. Items reported missing from the wallet include a driver’s license, cash, and three credit cards. Police filed a report and are following up on the case.
Occurred between 11:30 PM (11/13) and 10:00 AM (11/14) – Beacon St.
Police responded to a report of a theft of a laptop. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated that sometime within the last two days, his Apple laptop computer was stolen from his apartment. Officers inspected the apartment and found no signs of a forced entry. No other items have been reported missing at this time. Police are following up on the case.

Police responded to a report of a past larceny from a building. Officers met with the victim who stated that when he returned home after a weekend away, he discovered his three wheeled baby stroller missing from the front porch. Police filed a report and are following up on the case.

While on patrol, officers observed a motor vehicle make an illegal U-turn and executed a traffic stop. Upon identifying the driver, officers discovered that her right to operate in Mass. had been suspended. Police subsequently placed the driver under arrest for operating after suspension and the U-turn violation.
Occurred between 3:15 PM and 3:35 PM (11/13) – Beacon St.
Police responded to a report of a theft from a local store. Officers met with the reporting party who stated that a customer had accidentally left an envelope at the rear counter at the pharmacy section. Upon realizing this, an employee contacted the owner of the envelope who returned to the store and reported two season ticket pamphlets missing from the envelope. Officers reviewed surveillance footage and observed a black female approach the counter, go through the envelope, and take the pamphlets. The female suspect was subsequently located by police and placed under arrest for larceny.

Police executed a traffic stop for a driving violation. A query of the driver’s information revealed an expired license status. Police subsequently placed the driver under arrest for being not duly licensed and for failing to stop for a red light.

While patrolling, police observed a motor vehicle operating with an expired registration and executed a traffic stop. Upon identifying the driver, officers discovered that his right to operate a vehicle had been suspended. Police subsequently placed the driver under arrest for being not duly licensed.
Occurred 3:15 AM (11/14) – Chestnut Hill Ave.
While on patrol, police observed a motor vehicle traveling on the wrong side of the road at a high rate of speed and executed a traffic stop. Upon approaching the driver, officers detected an odor of alcohol emanating from the vehicle and observed the driver to have glassy eyes. Based on the officer’s observations of the driver’s intoxicated appearance and not being duly licensed, the driver was placed under arrest.

Police responded to a report of a homeless man sleeping on private property. Upon arrival, officers recognized the subject as someone that had been previously given a verbal no trespass order by the owner of the property. Police subsequently placed the man under arrest for trespassing.
Occurred 12:26 PM (11/14) – Commonwealth Ave.
Police responded to a report of a shoplifter in a local store. Upon arrival, officers met with the reporting party who stated that she had observed a customer place lip gloss into his pocket. Officers located the suspect and after a brief investigation were able to determine that he stole several items from the store. Police subsequently placed the suspect under arrest for shoplifting.
Larceny
Occurred between 4:30 AM and 6:40 AM (11/12) – Thornton Rd.
Police responded to a report of a theft of motor vehicle parts. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated that his four factory aluminum rims and tires were stolen off of his Honda. Police filed a report and are following up on the case.
Occurred 5:42 PM (11/12) – Babcock St.
Police responded to a report of a larceny from a local building. Officers met with the reporting party who stated that when he was done working in the building, he locked the storage area door prior to leaving. When he returned later in the day, he discovered the storage area door as well as an inside door open and a snow blower, weed whacker and lawn mower missing. Police are following up on the case.

Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting party who stated that when he came into work, he discovered an envelope containing cash from the previous day’s sales missing from his office. Police reviewed video surveillance which revealed a male suspect entering the office, opening the envelope, and placing something into his pocket. Police are following up on the case.

Police responded to a report of a larceny from a local store. The reporting party stated that while she was working, a cell phone was stolen from a display shelf. She informed police that a male suspect had been briefly in the area of the cell phone prior to it missing. A review of surveillance footage showed a white male pick up the phone, remove the front face of the phone, place it into his pocket and exit the store. Police are following up on the case.

The victim stated that she discovered her wallet missing from her possession when she was notified by her credit card company about unusual charges made to her credit cards. Police responded to a report of malicious damage to a motor vehicle. Officers met with the victim who stated that sometime last night, an unknown suspect damaged his vehicle by bending the windshield wipers upwards. He informed police that this has happened several times before and that the vehicle had been parked in his assigned parking spot. Police are following up on the case.

POLICE UPDATE:
Police have identified a woman who has been attempting to enter homes in the Warren St. /Heath St. area by false pretenses. She is a heavy set Black female, approximately 5’5” with her hair pulled back in a ponytail. She is operating a blue Honda sedan and claims she is working for the Town of Brookline. Anyone who sees a woman at their doorstep fitting this description is asked to contact police immediately. The suspect has been identified and police are following up on the case.
Arrest
Occurred between 11:05 PM (11/10) and 12:20 AM (11/11) – Boylston St. / Chestnut Hill Ave.
Police executed a motor vehicle stop for a driving violation. Upon identifying the driver, officers discovered that the driver had an active warrant for his arrest. Police subsequently placed the subject under arrest for the warrant.
Occurred 2:59 AM (11/11) – Centre St. Lot West
While on patrol, police observed a motor vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and in the wrong direction and executed a traffic stop. Upon approaching the driver, officers detected a strong odor of alcohol emanating from the vehicle and observed the driver to have glassy, bloodshot eyes. Based on officer’s observations of the driver’s intoxicated appearance, police placed him under arrest for operating under the influence of intoxicating liquor and further charged him with speeding, one way violation, and marked lanes violation.

Police observed a motor vehicle operating with an expired inspection sticker and executed a traffic stop. A query of the driver’s information revealed a suspended license status. Police subsequently placed the driver under arrest for operating after suspension.

Police responded to a report of a past larceny from a local store. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the store manager who stated that a laptop computer had been stolen from the store. He informed police that one suspect had been seen in the area from which the laptop was taken for a few minutes. Police are reviewing surveillance footage and are following up on the case.

Occurred between 12:01 AM and 12:32 AM (11/11) – Verndale St.
Police responded to a report of malicious damage. The victim stated that while he was driving, he encountered three male subjects standing in the middle of the street and beeped his horn at them to move them out the way. Upon doing so, one of the males grabbed a tree branch and began swinging at the victim’s car. Police conducted a search of the area but were unable to locate the suspects. A report was filed and police are following up on the case.

Police responded to a report of a stolen motor vehicle. The victim stated that sometime while her black Honda sedan was parked in her assigned parking spot, an unknown suspect stole her vehicle. She informed police that no one else had access or authorization to use her vehicle. Police are following up on the case.

Police responded to a report of a stolen motor vehicle. The victim stated that when she returned to her parked vehicle, she discovered it missing. The vehicle is a 2001 blue Audi. Police are following up on the case.

Police responded to a report of a graffiti complaint. Upon arrival, officers met with the reporting party who stated that a week prior she discovered graffiti had been placed on the rear of her home. Police observed the graffiti on the rear of her building and are following up on the case.

He immediately became suspicious of the check and contacted police, but the suspects fled prior to officers’ arrival. Police are reviewing surveillance footage and following up on the case.

The reporting party stated that his brother had a No-Trespass Order from the Brookline Housing Authority and that he had come to his home uninvited. Police subsequently placed the subject under arrest for trespassing.

Police responded to a report of a past shoplifting from a local store. Officers met with the reporting party who stated that while she was working, she observed a white male place several items into a red bag and flee the store without paying for the items. After a brief search of the area, officers located the suspect and found 16 beverages, two containers of baby formula, two bottles of Advil and one red Hallmark bag on his person. The suspect was subsequently placed under arrest for shoplifting. He was additionally charged with possession of Class E.

Police responded to a report of an intoxicated female possibly responsible for pulling fire alarms at a local college. Upon arrival, security informed officers that two fire alarm boxes had been pulled and shortly afterward a group of students requested for help to remove an intoxicated female subject from their dorm. After a brief investigation, officers determined that the female was responsible for setting off the fire alarms and attempted to remove her from the building. During this time, she was uncooperative, belligerent, and resistant towards officers and was placed under arrest for simple assault of a police officer, resisting arrest, false fire alarm, and disorderly conduct.

The victim described the suspects as white males in their early 20’s, one about 5’8” and 150 lbs and the other around 6’1” and 210 lbs. Police are reviewing surveillance footage and are conducting a follow-up investigation.

Police responded to a report of a traffic crash. Upon arrival, officers observed one of the driver’s unsteady on her feet and became concerned that she was under the influence of a substance. Based on officers’ observations and investigation, the driver was placed under arrest for driving under the influence of drugs.

Police executed a traffic stop for a driving violation. Upon identifying the driver, officers discovered that he did not have a driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle. Police subsequently placed the driver under arrest for being not duly licensed and also charged the owner of the vehicle for permitting unlicensed operation.

While on patrol, police observed a motor vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and executed a traffic stop. A query of the driver’s information revealed an expired license status since 2005. Police subsequently placed the driver under arrest for operating without a license and speeding.
Occurred 4:57 PM (11/02) – Harvard St.
While directing traffic, officers observed a male subject bang on the window of a local sub shop and give an employee the middle finger. Officers identified the subject and sent him on his way. Store employees informed officers that the subject had been in the store earlier and was told to leave due to his behavior. A short time later,, officers were called by a store employee who stated the subject returned to the store and was now yelling at an employee. While attempting to investigate the situation, the subject began acting disorderly and he was placed under arrest.

Upon identifying the driver, officers further discovered that her right to operate a motor vehicle in Mass. had also been suspended. Police responded to a report of a man exposing himself in public. The caller stated that while she was driving, she observed a black male standing by a fence with his pants un zippered and his hand in his crotch area. After a brief search, police located the suspect and placed him under arrest for indecent exposure.
Armed Robbery
Occurred 12:24 AM (11/03) – Longwood Ave. / Kent St.
Police responded to a report of an armed robbery where the two possible suspects were in possession of a knife. The victims relayed to officers that while they were walking home from work, they were approached and threatened by two individuals with knives. Suspect #1 is described as a black male in his mid-late 20’s, approximately 5’10”-5’11”, around 250 lbs., last seen wearing blue jeans and a white collared shirt. Suspect #2 is described as a black around 6’0”, last seen wearing a long black jacket with a hood over his head. Police were able to recover some of the victim’s personal belongings and are following up on the case.

Police responded to a report of a stolen license plate. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting party who stated that her husband’s front license plate had been stolen from his vehicle. The reporting party last saw the license plate a week prior and believes it could have been taken sometime while it was parked in her driveway or in a local parking lot. Police are following up on the case.

Police responded to a report of malicious damage. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated that several incidents have occurred recently in which lamps from her driveway have been damaged, a light in the front of her home has been broken repeatedly, and her husband’s vehicle tires has been damaged with nails. She informed police that she does not know of anyone who would do this to her property. Police are following up on the case.

A short time later,, officers were called by a store employee who stated the subject returned to the store and was now yelling at an employee. While attempting to investigate the situation, the subject began acting disorderly and he was placed under arrest.

Upon identifying the driver, officers further discovered that her right to operate a motor vehicle in Mass. had also been suspended. Police responded to a report of a man exposing himself in public. The caller stated that while she was driving, she observed a black male standing by a fence with his pants un zippered and his hand in his crotch area. After a brief search, police located the suspect and placed him under arrest for indecent exposure.

Occurred 12:24 AM (11/03) – Longwood Ave. / Kent St.
Police responded to a report of an armed robbery where the two possible suspects were in possession of a knife. The victims relayed to officers that while they were walking home from work, they were approached and threatened by two individuals with knives. Suspect #1 is described as a black male in his mid-late 20’s, approximately 5’10”-5’11”, around 250 lbs., last seen wearing blue jeans and a white collared shirt. Suspect #2 is described as a black around 6’0”, last seen wearing a long black jacket with a hood over his head. Police were able to recover some of the victim’s personal belongings and are following up on the case.

Police responded to a breaking and entering and larceny from a local store. Officers met with the store manager who stated that when he arrived at work, he noticed the store’s front door was not locked properly and the alarm was not functioning correctly. An inventory of the store’s medication was conducted which revealed several bottles of prescription drugs missing. Police are following up on the case.

Police responded to a report of a traffic crash. Upon arrival, officers observed a male subject slouched behind his steering wheel with an open container of alcohol in his vehicle. Based on officer’s observations of the driver’s intoxicated appearance, the driver was placed under arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol and further charged with having an open container in his vehicle and being not duly licensed.

Police executed a traffic stop for a driving violation. Upon approaching the vehicle, officers observed the driver behaving in a manner consistent with someone under the influence of drugs. Officers subsequently ran a query of the driver’s information and discovered that his driver’s license had been revoked. Police later found several syringes and bottles of pills in the vehicle. Police subsequently placed the driver under arrest for operating after revocation and operating under the influence of drugs. He was further charged with providing a false name/address to officers, forging an inspection sticker, and making an illegal left hand turn.

While on patrol, police observed a male subject behaving suspiciously and conducted a field investigation. Upon doing so, officers discovered a pair of wire cutters on the suspect and observed bikes with fresh slashes to their locks from the area the suspect had been seen coming from. Police subsequently placed the suspect under arrest for attempting to commit a crime, conspiracy to commit a crime and malicious damage to property. Officers also located two other suspects who had fled prior to the investigation and placed them under arrest for the above offenses as well.

Police responded to a report of a couple acting suspiciously around houses in the area. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the caller who described the pair as a white male with a shaved head and tall white female with spiked hair and glasses. Officers located the suspects and conducted a field investigation in which numerous burglarious tools were found in the suspects’ possession. Also a nearby house had a cut out window screen. The suspects were subsequently placed under arrest for breaking and entering and possession of burglarious tools.

Police believe this incident may be related with an earlier incident and are conducting a follow-up investigation.

While conducting a motor vehicle stop, police observed another motor vehicle travel through a red traffic light and stop in a right travel and breakdown lane. Officers subsequently approached the vehicle and conducted a field investigation. Upon doing so, officers discovered the driver passed out and an odor of alcohol emanating from the vehicle. Based on officer’s observations of the driver’s intoxicated appearance, police placed him under arrest for operating under the influence of alcohol.

Police executed a traffic stop for a driving violation. Upon identifying the driver, officers discovered that her right to operate a motor vehicle in Mass. had been revoked. Police subsequently placed the driver under arrest for operating after revocation and are additionally charging her husband for knowingly allowing an improper person to operate his vehicle.

Police filed a report and are following up on the case.

Police subsequently placed the subject under arrest for possession with intent to distribute in a school zone.

While monitoring traffic, police observed a motor vehicle traveling without headlights on and executed a traffic stop. Upon doing so, officers discovered the vehicle to be over loaded with passengers and conducted a protective sweep of the vehicle. As a result of the motor vehicle stop, police placed one subject under arrest for assaulting a police officer, another under arrest for being in possession of alcohol as a minor, and charged the driver with failure to display headlights and impeded operation.

Police responded to a report of malicious damage to a local building. Upon arrival, officers observed damage to the front door and a male suspect attempting to gain entry into the building. Officers spoke with the reporting party, a building resident who stated that when she woke up during the night, she heard someone trying to kick down the door to the building and then the sound of glass breaking. Police determined that the subject was responsible for the damage and subsequently placed him under arrest for malicious damage of property, disorderly conduct, and disturbing the peace.

Police responded to a report of a male subject yelling and cursing at people in a local parking garage. The reporting party stated that while she was exiting the garage, the subject got out of his vehicle and hit one of her headlights with his hand. Officers spoke with the suspect and determined he was under the influence of alcohol. The suspect was subsequently placed under arrest and is being charged with operating under the influence of alcohol and assault and threats to commit a crime.

Police responded to a report of a suspicious person looking into a window of a local residence. Officers located the suspect and upon questioning him, he became very volatile and uncooperative with police. Due to the suspect’s disorderly conduct, police placed him under arrest.

While monitoring traffic, police observed a motor vehicle traveling with an expired inspection sticker and executed a traffic stop. Officers ran a query of the driver’s information which revealed an expired license status. Police subsequently placed the driver under arrest for operating after revocation.
Assault
Occurred 3:45 AM (10/09) – Freeman St. / Babcock St.
Police responded to a report of a fight in progress. Upon arrival, police located both parties involved and conducted a field investigation. Officers spoke with the victim who stated that as he was walking, a male subject exited his vehicle and assaulted him. Police were able to determine what had occurred and are subsequently summonsing the suspect into court for assault and battery.
Occurred 3:45 AM (10/09) – Freeman St. / Babcock St.
While responding to a call at a local residence building, police discovered an intoxicated female lying on the first floor landing area. Police were able to identify the subject and speak with her sister who requested that she be taken to a hospital. When EMS attempted to take the subject out of her apartment, she began acting very disorderly and assaulted an officer. Police are subsequently summonsing the subject into court for 2 counts of assault and battery on a police officer and for being a disorderly person.
Breaking and Entering and Larceny of a Motor Vehicle
Occurred between 6:30 PM (10/08) and 4:45 PM (10/09) – Westbourne Pl.
Police responded to a report of an attempted breaking and entering and larceny from a motor vehicle. Officers met with the victim who stated that sometime while her car was parked in her rented parking space, her vehicle’s sunroof was damaged. Police inspected the vehicle and determined that no entry was gained. A report was filed.
Larceny
Occurred 4:51 PM (10/10) – Beacon St.
Police responded to a report of a larceny from a local store. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting party, a store employee who stated that he observed a male suspect come into the store, take a cell phone from the display wall and flee. Officers were given a description of the suspect and conducted a search of the area. Police subsequently located the suspect and placed him under arrest for larceny from a building.

Police responded to a report of a larceny. Officers met with the victim who stated that sometime while her bike was secured to a lamp post across from her residence building, an unknown suspect cut the lock off and took her bike. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred between 8:10 AM and 7:00 PM (10/12) – Naples Rd.
Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering from a local residence. The victim stated that when she returned home from work, she discovered someone had entered her home. Items reported stolen include eleven pieces of jewelry. Police are following up on the case.
Burglary
Occurred between 5:30 PM and 9:15 PM (10/10) – Irving St.
Police responded to a report of a burglary from a local residence. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the residents who stated that when they returned home from a night out, they discovered their home had been entered. Items reported stolen include an Acer laptop computer and a large amount of jewelry. Police believe the suspect gained entry through a dining room window and are following up on the case.
Malicious Damage
Occurred between 12:30 PM (10/08) and 12:00 PM (10/11) – Colbourne Cres
Police responded to a report of malicious damage. Officers met with the victim who stated that someone had broken glass from her front picture window. She informed police that the glass had been broken by someone before back in January. A report was filed.

Police responded to a report of malicious damage to a motor vehicle. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated that when he returned to his parked vehicle, he discovered his driver’s side front window smashed. The victim reported no items missing at this time. A report was filed.
Occurred 2:34 AM (10/09) – Pearl St.
While monitoring traffic, police observed a motor vehicle traveling without headlights on and executed a traffic stop. Upon doing so, officers discovered the vehicle to be over loaded with passengers and conducted a protective sweep of the vehicle. As a result of the motor vehicle stop, police placed one subject under arrest for assaulting a police officer, another under arrest for being in possession of alcohol as a minor, and charged the driver with failure to display headlights and impeded operation.
Occurred 2:34 AM (10/09) – Kendall St. / Prince St.
Police executed a traffic stop for a driving violation. Upon identifying the driver, officers discovered that his right to operate a motor vehicle in Mass. had been suspended. Police subsequently placed the driver under arrest for operating after suspension.
Occurred 4:00 AM (10/10) – Parkman St.
Police responded to a report of malicious damage to a local building. Upon arrival, officers observed damage to the front door and a male suspect attempting to gain entry into the building. Officers spoke with the reporting party, a building resident who stated that when she woke up during the night, she heard someone trying to kick down the door to the building and then the sound of glass breaking. Police determined that the subject was responsible for the damage and subsequently placed him under arrest for malicious damage of property, disorderly conduct, and disturbing the peace.
Occurred 4:04 PM (10/10) – Washington St.
Police responded to a report of a male subject yelling and cursing at people in a local parking garage. The reporting party stated that while she was exiting the garage, the subject got out of his vehicle and hit one of her headlights with his hand. Officers spoke with the suspect and determined he was under the influence of alcohol. The suspect was subsequently placed under arrest and is being charged with operating under the influence of alcohol and assault and threats to commit a crime.
Occurred between 9:00 PM and 9:31 PM (10/10) – Village Way
Police responded to a report of a suspicious person looking into a window of a local residence. Officers located the suspect and upon questioning him, he became very volatile and uncooperative with police. Due to the suspect’s disorderly conduct, police placed him under arrest.
Occurred 2:32 PM (10/12) – Harvard St.
While monitoring traffic, police observed a motor vehicle traveling with an expired inspection sticker and executed a traffic stop. Officers ran a query of the driver’s information which revealed an expired license status. Police subsequently placed the driver under arrest for operating after revocation.
Assault

Police responded to a report of a fight in progress. Upon arrival, police located both parties involved and conducted a field investigation. Officers spoke with the victim who stated that as he was walking, a male subject exited his vehicle and assaulted him. Police were able to determine what had occurred and are subsequently summonsing the suspect into court for assault and battery.

While investigating a report of a verbal dispute, police observed a male subject enter his vehicle and leave the vicinity from which the call was reported. Officers subsequently conducted a motor vehicle stop to inquire about the reported dispute. Upon identifying the subject, police discovered that he had a suspended Mass. driver’s license and an active arrest warrant. The subject was placed under arrest for the warrant and operating after suspension.
Fraud
Occurred 3:35 PM (10/08) – Naples Rd.
Police responded to a report of a fraud. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated that four unauthorized charges were made to her debit card account from another country. Police are following up on the case.
Larceny
Occurred 4:18 PM (10/08) – Singletree Rd.
Police responded to a report of a larceny from a local residence. The victim stated that when he returned to his property during the morning hours, he discovered his 6’ wooden fireplace mantelpiece missing. He informed officers that since there is work being done on his home the mantelpiece was moved outside. Police are following up on the case.

Police responded to a report of a larceny. The victim stated that while she was in a local store, she briefly left her bike unlocked by a parking meter. When she returned, she discovered her bike missing. Police subsequently conducted a local area search and located the victim’s bike around the corner. The bike was subsequently returned to its owner.
Occurred between 7:01 PM and 7:35 PM (10/07) – Verndale St.
Police responded to a report of a larceny of a bicycle. Officers met with the reporting party who stated he observed a black male subject take a bike off his neighbors’ front porch and flee. Officers subsequently conducted a search of the area but were unable to locate the suspect. Police notified the owner of the bike about the incident and are following up on the case.

Police responded to a report of a fraud. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated that the previous day she was contacted by her bank about possible fraudulent activity on her checking account. At this time, she discovered two checks had been made and cashed without her authorization. Police are following up on the case.
