ANIMAL VIOLATION - Officers took a report of a dog bite that occurred in the area of Stedman St. The reporting party shared that they were running down the street and passed a party walking their dog. As they passed, the dog barked at them and bit them on the leg.

Tuesday, December 13

CHECK FRAUD - Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared that they mailed several checks and later discovered they had been altered before being cashed.

THEFT - Officers were called to Meadowbrook Rd for a report of a theft. The reporting party shared that they discovered jewelry had gone missing from their residence.

FRAUD - Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared that they discovered several fraudulent charges made to an insurance company they do not belong to.

GRAFFITI - Officers took a report of new graffiti found on Harvard St.

BIKE THEFT - Officers took a report of a theft that occurred on Beacon St. The reporting party shared that they left their bicycle unsecured outside a commercial building and returned a few minutes later to discover it was missing.

SCOOTER THEFT - Officers responded to John St for a report, where the reporting party shared that they left their moped unsecured in a residential parking lot and discovered a few hours later that it was missing.


Wednesday, December 14

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers were called to Beacon St for a report, where the reporting party shared that they received notification of a delivery, but when they went to collect it from the lobby, they found the empty packaging. 

BURGLARY - Officers responded to Dean Rd for a report of a breaking and entering of a residence. The perpetrator was summonsed to court.


Thursday, December 15

ASSAULT - Officers took a report of an altercation that occurred on Washington St. An individual was crossing the street when a vehicle approached the crosswalk. The driver reportedly flicked a lit cigarette at the pedestrian. There were no injuries. The perpetrator was summonsed to court.

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers were called to Vernon St for a report, where the reporting party shared that they received a notification of a delivery, but when they went to collect it, they found the empty packaging.

MALICIOUS DAMAGE - Officers took a report of damage done to a building on Harvard St. The perpetrator was summonsed to court.


Friday, December 16

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers responded to Dwight St for a report, where the reporting party shared that they received a notification of a delivery, but when they went to collect it, the package was missing.

FRAUD - Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared that they discovered a fraudulent purchase made online.

SHOPLIFTING - Officers took a report of shoplifting that occurred on Commonwealth Av.

FORGERY - Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared that they discovered a forged check had been cashed from their account.


Saturday, December 17

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers were called to Beacon St for a report, where the reporting party shared they witnessed an individual take packages from the front steps of a residential building and then flee the scene in a vehicle.

THEFT - Officers took a report of a theft that occurred on Cypress St. The reporting party shared that they left their phone behind at a restaurant and returned to find that it was missing.


Sunday, December 18

SCAM - Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared that they sold art online. The buy sent a check for a higher amount than the agreed-upon price and then requested the victim refund the difference. The original payment was cancelled after the refund was processed.

AUTO PARTS THEFT - Officers responded to Kent St for a report, where the reporting party shared that they parked their vehicle in a private lot over a few days and later discovered that the catalytic converter had been stolen.
