FRAUD - Officers took a report, where the reporting party shared they received a phone call from a woman claiming to work for Eversource. The perpetrator stated they needed to pay a fee or their electricity would be shut off then claimed the transfer was not completed and would need to be done again.
Tuesday, June 21
ANIMAL VIOLATION - Officers took a report of an aggressive dog. The reporting party stated they and their dog were at Brookline Av, off-leash, and encountered another dog off-leash. The dog attacked the reporting party's, and they had to separate them. The second owner was issued a by-law citation.
Wednesday, June 22
FRAUD - Officers took a report of fraud, where the reporting party received notification of someone attempting to file a tax return under their name.
SHOPLIFTING - Officers were called to Beacon St for a report of an individual causing a disturbance. They reportedly entered the store and began knocking over merchandise, before they went to another store, grabbed an item of clothing, and left without paying. The perpetrator has been placed under arrest.
FRAUD - Officers took a report, where the reporting party stated they were searching online for a dog breeder and had made contact with a man out of state. He required they transfer the money but failed to provide the dog.
ATTEMPTED THEFT - Officers responded to Beacon St for a report of an attempted theft of a moped. The reporting party stated they observed three men trying to cut the lock of a scooter chained to a sign post at night. Once the men noticed the witness, they fled the area.
MALICIOUS DAMAGE - Officers were called to Beacon St for a report of damage done to a motor vehicle. The owner stated they left the vehicle parked on the street and returned an hour later to the windshield damaged.

THEFT - Officers took a report of a theft that occurred on Harvard St. The reporting party stated they left their wallet behind at a store and later discovered that fraudulent charges were made to their credits cards. The perpetrator has been summonsed to court.
CAR BREAK - Officers took a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle that occurred on Eliot St. The reporting party stated they left their car unlocked and returned a few minutes later to discover that property was missing.

BURGLARY - Officers responded to Commonwealth Av for a security alarm. Two female individuals had forced entry to a store then fled the area.
SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY - Officers took a report where the reporting party shared someone had attempted to open a credit card in their name.
FORGERY - Officers were called to Harvard St for a report of attempted forgery. A female individual attempted to cash a fraudulent check. The perpetrator was summonsed to court.
Saturday, June 25
SCOOTER THEFT - Officers responded to Beacon St for a report of theft. The reporting party shared they had secured their motor scooter to a parking meter overnight and returned the next morning to discover it was missing. The scooter has since been recovered.
THEFT - Officers were called to Washington St for a report of a theft. The reporting party stated two female individuals had stolen their wallet from their bag then fled the area.
