Monday, June 27

ANIMAL VIOLATION - Officers took a report of an incident that occurred at Griggs Park. The reporting party stated their child was playing in the park when two off-leash dogs chased him, one of which bit him. The owner was issued a by-law citation.

BURGLARY - Officers took a report of a breaking and entering that occurred on Toxteth St. The reporting party stated they heard noises coming from inside their residence and discovered someone had broken in and taken property. The perpetrator was summonsed to court.

GRAFFITI - Officers were alerted to new graffiti tags that appeared on Beacon St.

BIKE THEFT - Officers took a report of a theft that occurred on Harvard St. The reporting party stated they secured their bike to the front of a residence and returned the next morning to discover it was gone.


Tuesday, June 28

BURGLARY - Officers responded to Addington Rd for a report of a breaking and entering. The reporting party stated they returned home after two months away to discover someone had gone through their apartment and stolen property. 

FRAUD - Officers took a report of ID theft, where the reporting party shared they received notification about a bank account under their name, although they had no prior knowledge of it. 


Wednesday, June 29

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers were called to Cypress St for a report of theft. The reporting party stated they ordered an item online, but when they went to collect it, the package was gone.

THEFT - Officers responded to Freeman St for a report of theft. The reporting party stated that they had ordered a meal deliver, but when they went to collect it, the order was gone. 

THEFT Officers took a report of larceny by false pretense. The reporting party stated they hired an individual to do renovation work on their residence, but they have not completed the work.

CAR BREAK - Officers were called to Longwood Av for a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they had parked their vehicle in a private lot overnight and returned in the afternoon to discover someone had rummaged through their glove compartment. 


Thursday, June 30

CAR BREAK - Officers responded to Longwood Av for a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they had parked their vehicle, unlocked, in a private lot overnight and returned in the morning to discover property was missing. 

FRAUD - Officers took a report of ID fraud. The reporting party stated they received notification in the mail about a new membership, for which they had never applied. They also discovered a bank account had been created in their name.

CAR BREAK - Officers were called to Sewall Av for a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they had parked their vehicle, unlocked, in a private lot overnight and returned in the morning to discover it had been rummaged through and property was missing. 

CAR BREAK - Officers responded to Brook St for a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they had parked their vehicle in a private lot overnight and returned in the morning to discover that property was missing. 

BIKE THEFT - Officers were called to Still St for a report of a theft. The reporting party shared that they had locked their bike to a street sign. When they returned a week later, they discovered the chain had been cut and a different bike left in its place.

FRAUD - Officers took a report of fraud. The reporting party stated they received an email claiming to be a job opportunity. The scammer sent a check then requested the victim make multiple money transfers to other accounts.


Friday, July 1

CAR BREAK - Officers responded to Park St for a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they had left their vehicle, unlocked, in a private lot and returned the next morning to discover that property was missing. 

FRAUD - Officers took a report of fraud. The reporting party stated they called a number off a pop-up window that claimed their computer had been hacked. The individual claiming to work for a fraud department stated their bank account had been compromised and that they needed to buy gift cards in order to withdraw their money.

MV THEFT - Officers were called to Francis St for a report of a theft. The reporting party stated they discovered the vehicle had gone missing sometime during the night, after being parked in the driveway for a few days. The vehicle was reportedly unlocked.

CAR BREAK - Officers responded to Vernon St for a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they had left their vehicle, unlocked, in a private lot and returned the next morning to discover that it had been rummaged through and property was missing. 

SCOOTER THEFT - Officers were called to Harvard St for a report of a theft. The reporting party stated they left their electric scooter in a driveway and discovered later that morning that it had been stolen. 


Saturday, July 2

GRAFFITI - Officers were alerted to new graffiti tags that appeared on Beacon St.

PACKAGE THEFT - officers responded to Gibbs St for a report of a package theft. The reporting party stated they received notification that the delivery arrived, but when they went to collect it, the package was gone.


Sunday, July 3

FRAUD - Officers took a report of ID fraud. The reporting party stated they received notification that a new credit line had been opened in their name.

BIKE THEFT - Officers were called to Marion St for a report of a bike theft. The reporting party stated they secured their bike in a garage and returned a few days later to discover it was missing.
