An individual witnessed a violation of a town by-law and attempted to take photographic evidence, and the second individual confronted them and began a physical altercation. After speaking with the parties involved, officers concluded that the responsible party will be summonsed to court for simple assault.

CAR BREAK - Officers responded to Beacon St for a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they parked their car on the street and returned to find the contents of the glove box strewn about and property missing. The matter is under investigation.
FRAUD - Officers were called to Warwick Rd for a past report of fraud. The reporting party stated they posted boots for sale online and the buyer sent a large check as payment, asking them to Venmo the remaining balance. When they tried to deposit the check, they were notified that it was fraudulent. The matter is under investigation.

The reporting party stated they received notifications from the bank about suspicious activity, and after checking their statements, they found check had been altered and deposited without their knowledge or consent. FOUND PROPERTY - An individual turned in US currency that was found on the sidewalk at the corner of Chestnut and Prince St. It has been taken to the station for safe keeping.
