8:52PM: Officers were dispatched to University Road for reports of bat exposure. The reporting party told police that a bat was flying around his home. In an attempt to catch the animal, it bit him on the ring finger. The animal was secured and sent to Mass Department of Health for a rabies test. No one else in the home was exposed to the bat.

5:26PM: A woman called the police to report her car stolen. She stated she went to her parking spot and noticed her vehicle was missing. When officers arrived, the reporting party told them she parked her red Kia on Columbia Street before going to work at 7am. When she returned at around 5pm, she could not locate her car. The car was locked. Officers canvassed the area and asked multiple towing companies, but no one could locate the vehicle. This is being investigated.
