6:07 PM- Officers were dispatched to Commonwealth Ave for a
shoplifting incident. Brookline Police
Dispatch described the suspect as a white male wearing a red shirt, black
pants, and a black bag, who left the store and headed toward Kenmore Square. An officer spoke to the reporting party who
stated he viewed the suspect enter the store around 6:00 PM, go straight to an
aisle and place items into his backpack.
He confronted the suspect who then left the store and headed in the
direction of Kenmore Square. This case
is under investigation.
