9:50 PM- An officer was dispatched to CVS on Commonwealth
Ave. pursuant to a shoplifting in
progress call. The complainant stated while
observing the security surveillance cameras that he noticed an individual
placing items in a personal bag. He believed
the individual was doing so to temporarily store the items before purchasing. Due to this belief he did not pursue further
monitoring of the individual in the store.
When reviewing the surveillance camera footage he noticed the individual
walked past the checkout stand and proceeded through the exit in the front of
the store and headed east. This case is
being investigated.
