June 8th through June 10th

10:42 AM - An officer was dispatched to Cabot Street for a malicious damage/graffiti report Friday morning. The reporting party stated that he had been doing contracting work at the Cabot Street residence and had left the property Thursday night at approximately 9:30 PM. When the contractor returned at approximately 6:30 AM Friday morning, he noticed that someone had spray painted the garage doors and tagged a piece of dry wall within the property. There was no other damage reported and nothing was stolen. This incident is being investigated.

10:37 AM - Saturday morning, a man came into the station to report a bicycle theft. He stated that between 5/21/2018 and 5/28/2018, his locked bike was taken from his home on Gerry Road. At this time, there are no suspects. This incident is being investigated.

11:41 AM - An officer was dispatched to a gym on Commonwealth Avenue for a larceny report. The victim stated that she had went to the gym on Friday, June 8th from approximately 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM. The victim placed her purse in an unsecured locker while she worked out. That Saturday morning, she had gone to use her credit card but was unable to find it. After checking online, she was able to see fraudulent transaction made on her card. The victim also told police that approximately $18.00 in cash was taken from her purse. A follow-up has been requested. This incident is being investigated.

8:50 AM - Sunday morning, police were dispatched to the area of Monmouth Street and Monmouth Court for a report of a package theft that had just occurred. The caller relayed to an officer that he had observed a female subject take a package off the steps of a residence on Monmouth Court. He then observed her walk away towards Carlton Path and open up the package. Brookline PD was able to contact the victim on Monmouth Court who stated that the package contained camera accessories. The caller was able to provide police with a description and the packaging left by the suspect was submitted into evidence. This incident is being investigated.
