3/23 to 3/26

3/23/17 – Recovered Stolen Vehicle
An officer observed a brown Chevrolet traveling on Harvard Street toward Commonwealth Ave. A random query of the vehicle returned a possible stolen match. The officer conducted a traffic stop after talking to the operator, the officer confirmed the vehicle was reported stolen on 2/18/17 and the vehicle was towed away.

3/23/17 – Larceny
An officer was dispatched to the lobby of the police station for a larceny report.
The subject stated that while at a gym on Heath St., between 2100hrs and 2330hrs, his sweatshirt containing 2 phones and several cards was taken.

3/23/17 – Bike Larceny
An officer responded to Kent St. for a report of larceny. The victim stated that between 2100hrs and 2115hrs his bike was stolen from outside his apartment. The bicycle is a black men's mountain bike with gray diamonds on the frame.

3/24/17 – Malicious Damage
An officer was dispatched to Newton Street for a report of malicious destruction.  The subject stated that a business owned backhoe was parked on Newton St. on 3/16/17 and when he returned on 3/24/17, the left side door was ajar and the right rear window of the cab was shattered. Heavy winds may have played a role in this incident.

3/24/17 – Malicious Damage
An officer was dispatched to Kent Street for a malicious damage report. The subject stated that between 1605hrs on 3/23/2017 and 1145hrs on 3/24/17 while parked on Kent St. her car’s back windshield smashed out. Nothing was taken from her vehicle.

3/25/17 – Hit & Run
An officer responded to the Carlton St for a traffic accident hit and run with no injuries. The victim stated that around 1915hrs a black pickup truck with New Hampshire license plates hit his vehicle while merging from Mountfort St onto Carlton St and continued on its way taking a left of Commonwealth Ave. The victim’s vehicle sustained damage on the front left side and the entire bumper was ripped off in the process of the accident. The unknown black pickup truck should have damage on the front right side.

3/26/17 – Breaking & Entering of a Motor Vehicle

An officer responded to Circuit Rd. for a past B&E of a motor vehicle. The owner stated that they parked the vehicles at approximately 1900 hours on 3/24/17. At approximately 0700 hours on 3/26/17, it was noticed that both middle consoles had been gone through. Only cash was taken from each vehicle.
