Police reports from April 1st to April 2nd, 2015

April 1st
Officers conducted a random query on a vehicle on Harvard and Green Street. Offers pulled the vehicle over and asked for the driver’s license and registration. The driver was placed under arrest for a straight warrant out of Quincy District Court.

An officer responded to a report of identity fraud. Someone had attempted to file taxes under their name.  This matter is still under investigation.

An officer responded to a report of identity theft. Someone had opened a credit card account with their personal information. This matter is still under investigation.

An officer responded to a report of identity theft and fraud. The victim received a letter that their taxes were denied. This matter is still under investigation.   

Officers responded to a report of an attempted larceny on Freeman Street. This matter is still under investigation.

April 2nd
Officers noticed a vehicle failing to stop at a stop sign on Commonwealth Avenue and Pleasant Street. The officers pulled the vehicle over and asked for the driver’s license and registration. The driver was placed under arrest for a straight warrant.


An officer noticed a vehicle traveling without an inspection sticker. The officer pulled the vehicle over and asked for the driver’s license and registration. The driver was placed under arrest for operating after revocation.
