Operating after Suspension: 7/19 at 2:50 AM- Harvard St.
An officer observed a vehicle travel through a red light. The officer initiated a traffic stop on Harvard St. A query revealed that the driver had a suspended license and he was placed under arrest for Operating after Suspension.
Larceny: 7/20 between 4:00 and 5:00 PM- Commonwealth Ave.
An individual reported a larceny from a gym locker on Commonwealth Ave. The victim stated that someone entered his locker and removed a wallet containing credit cards and cash.
Sector 2
Failure to Stop: 7/18 at 10:25 PM- Aspinwall Ave. / Brook St.
An officer observed a moped fail to yield to pedestrians in a marked crosswalk. The officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop on Brook St. However, when the officer stepped out of his vehicle the driver of the moped took off at a high rate of speed. After a short pursuit the operator lost control of the moped and he was placed into custody. The operator was placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct, Not Duly Licensed, Failure to Stop for a Police Officer, Operating to Endanger, and Resisting Arrest.
Sector 3
B&E MV: 7/18 between 4:30 and 5:45 PM- Beacon St. / Warwick Rd.
An individual reported the breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The victim stated that someone entered her unlocked vehicle while it was parked on Beacon St. A suitcase containing a camera and clothing was reported stolen from the vehicle.
Burglary Arrest: 7/20 at 1:29 AM- Westbourne Tr.
Officers responded to Westbourne Tr. for a residential breaking and entering. Upon arrival officers observed an open window and screen that appeared to be the point of entrance. Officers stopped a male individual in the area to conduct a field interview. This individual was placed under arrest for Breaking and Entering at Night with Intent to Commit a Felony. He was also charged with Possession of a Class E Drug.
B&E MV: 7/21 between 3:00 and 4:15 PM- Harvard St.
An individual reported the breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The victim stated that someone entered his vehicle while it was parked on Harvard St. An iPod was reported stolen from the vehicle.
Sector 4
Operating after Suspension: 7/18 at 9:17 AM- Boylston St. / Cypress St.
An officer observed a vehicle merge into a lane without using caution, nearly causing an accident. The officer initiated a traffic stop on Boylston Street at the intersection of Cypress Street. A query revealed that the driver had a suspended license and she was placed under arrest for Operating after Suspension.
Warrant Arrest: 7/19 at 10:50 AM- Elm St.
Officers responded to the area of Elm St. for the report of a suspicious male entering porches to several residences in the area. Officers located an individual who matched the description in the area. A query revealed that the subject had a warrant out of Brookline District Court and he was placed under arrest.
Operating after Suspension: 7/19 at 4:40 PM- Washington St. / Park St.
An officer observed a vehicle traveling with defective brake lights. The officer initiated a traffic stop on Washington St. at Park St. A query revealed that the driver had a suspended license and he was placed under arrest for Operating after Suspension.
Warrant Arrest: 7/21 at 11:05 AM- Harvard St.
An officer observed a cyclist fail to stop for a red light. The officer initiated a stop on Harvard St. A query revealed that the individual had a warrant out of Quincy District Court. The subject was placed under arrest for the warrant, Possession of Burglarious Tools, and Receiving Stolen Property.
Sector 6
Operating after Suspension: 7/19 at 9:54 PM- Dunster Rd. / Boylston St.
An officer observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. The operator briefly attempted to elude the officer until coming to a stop on Boylston St. The operator was placed under arrest for Failure to Stop for a Police Officer and Operating after Suspension.
Sector 7
Burglary: Between 7/19 and 7/21- Dudley St.
An individual reported a residential breaking and entering. The victim stated that she returned home to find a basement door had been forced in. Silverware and jewelry were reported stolen from the home.
Sector 9
Burglary: 7/19 between 8:00 AM and 4:54 PM- Lagrange St.
Officers responded to Lagrange St. for a burglar alarm. Upon arrival it was determined that someone had forced open a rear door. It did not appear that anything was taken from the residence. A search of the area for the suspect yielded negative results.
