Police Reports 8/29

Sector 2
B&E&L of MV: Occurred b/t 8/28 at 5:00pm & 8/29 at 7:45am – Beacon St
Victim stated that his vehicle had been entered overnight. Victim claimed that the vehicle was parked in the rear lot and he found his leather briefcase and sunglasses were missing from the vehicle. Officer did not observe any signs of forced entry.

Sector 5
Larceny-Shoplifting: 8/28 at 7:17pm – Washington St
Officer responded to a report of a past shoplifting call. Employee stated that he observed a suspect take a white plastic bag out of his pocket; he then began filling it with razor blades. Suspect then proceeded to exit the store without paying. The suspect is described as a black male approximately 6' tall, wearing a baggy white t-shirt, shorts, and a black helmet.

Sector 8
Resisting Arrest: 8/29 at 9:48pm – Heath St
Officer responded to a request for assistance in dealing with a trespasser. Subject ignored officer’s orders and continued to walk away. Officer attempted to stop the subject when she swung her arms around, hitting the police officer. Subject was detained and informed of the trespass law.

Graffiti Law: 8/29 at 6:15pm – Foster St
Officer responded to a report of a graffiti complaint. Upon arrival, officer observed a dumpster with graffiti spray -tagged “PHOP!” -painted in white on the side.

Operating After Revocation: 8/29 at 5:17pm – School St & Harvard St
Officer observed a vehicle grid locking the intersection of Harvard St and School St, restricting traffic flow. A registration query revealed that the operator of the vehicle had a revoked license. Operator was placed under arrest and issued citations for Operating after Revocation and Gridlock.

Accident MV/Property: 8/29 at 9:28am – Harvard St / Sewall Ave
Vehicle 1 was taking a right turn when it struck a parked vehicle. Vehicle 1 sustained minor damage to the passenger side and the parked vehicle sustained damage to the driver’s side rear quarter panel and taillight.
