Police Reports 2/8-2/9

Burglary: Occurred on 2/8 between 7:20 Am and 6:20 PM- James St.

A James St. resident reported a Breaking and Entering and Larceny. The victim stated that she left the apartment at 7:20 AM and returned at 5:00 PM. The victim entered the master bedroom and noticed some belongings were missing. There appeared to be pry marks on the front door, which is believed to be the point of entry.

Arrest: Occurred on 2/8 at 6:22 PM- Longwood Ave.

A green Honda Civic was traveling on St. Paul Street with no front registration plate and no registration sticker on the rear plate. Officers conducted a traffic stop on Longwood Ave. A query of the driver revealed that his right to operate a motor vehicle was suspended. The operator was placed under arrest and charged with Operating after Suspension, No Front Number Plate, and No Registration Sticker attached to Number Plate.

Arrest: Occurred on 2/8 at 1:40 PM- Allandale Rd.

A vehicle was traveling on Allandale Rd. at a high rate of speed. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Allandale Rd. A query of the operator revealed that he had a warrant. The query also revealed that the license plates were for a vehicle other than the one that had been stopped. The operator was placed under arrest for the warrant. He will be summonsed to court for Attaching M/V Plates, Operating an Unregistered M/V, Operating an Uninsured M/V, and Speeding.

Arrest: Occurred on 2/8 at 11:42 AM- Chestnut Hill Ave.

A Honda sedan was traveling on Boylston St. and took a turn onto Chestnut Hill Ave. A query of the vehicle indicated that the vehicle had an expired registration. The officer conducted a traffic stop on Chestnut Hill Ave. A query of the operator revealed that her license was suspended. The driver was placed under arrest for Operating After Suspension.

B&E Motor Vehicle: Occurred between 8:00 PM 2/6 and 8:00 AM 2/8- Highland Rd.

A Highland Rd. resident reported a motor vehicle breaking and entering. The victim reported that he parked the vehicle in the front driveway on 2/6/12 at approximately 8:00 PM. On 2/8/12 at 8:00 PM the victim saw that the driver’s side window had been smashed and a radar detector had been taken from the vehicle.
