April 26th- 27th

Arrests:

Occurred at 9:40 AM (4/26) – Longwood Avenue/ St Paul Street

Officers were conducting surveillance in the area due to a recent string of burglaries. Officers observed a vehicle that matched the description of the vehicle reported in the past burglaries. Officer’s observed one of the males of the vehicle enter the courtyard of the buildings that have recently been burglarized, knock on some doors and windows, and then returned back to the vehicle. The vehicle then left the premise. Officers learned that the vehicle’s status was stolen and they conducted a traffic stop. Upon investigation officers learned that the driver of the vehicle did not have a proper driver’s license and was subsequently placed under arrests. Officers also observed multiple tools and items related to burglary activity. Both subjects were additionally charged with possession of burglarious tools and conspiracy to commit a felony.

Occurred at 12:48 AM (4/27) – Boylston Street/ Lee Street

Officers conducted a traffic stop for speeding. Upon investigation officers learned that the driver’s license status was suspended. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for operating after suspension and speeding. The passenger was not wearing a seat belt. After officers conducted a query of the passenger, officers learned the passenger had a default warrant out for her arrest. The passenger was subsequently placed under arrest for the warrant.

Occurred at 2:00 AM (4/27) – Boylston Street

Officers conducted a traffic stop for speeding and marked lane violations. Upon investigation officers learned that the driver smelled of alcohol. Officers conducted field sobriety tests and came to the conclusion that the subject was operating under the influence of alcohol. Officers also learned that the driver’s license was expired. The subject was subsequently placed under arrest for operating under the influence of alcohol, not duly licensed, marked lane violation, and speeding.

April 27th- 28th

Larceny:

Occurred at 3:56 PM (4/27) – Commonwealth Avenue

Officers responded to a report of attempted larceny. Upon arrival officers learned that a male subject had entered the pharmacy and was walking up and down the isles suspiciously. An employee of the pharmacy was doing surveillance out back and saw the male place items into a plastic bag that he was carrying and headed for the exit. The employee was able to obtain the bag but the suspect fled.

Burglary:

Occurred at 8:07 PM (4/27) – Allerton Street

Officer responded to a report of a burglary. Officers learned that the family heard a noise coming from the front porch. When the victim looked she saw a male subject running from the house with one of the family bikes and riding away on it. No suspects have been found thus far.

Possession:

Occurred at 1:16 AM (4/28) – Aspinwall Avenue/ Kent Street

Officers observed a male acting suspicious in front of a local residence. Upon investigation officers learned that the subject had a smoking pipe filled with what appeared to be marijuana. The subject was issued a citation for possession of marijuana less than an ounce.
