February 17- 22 Police Reports

Larceny

• Occurred between 7:00PM (2/17) and 12:00PM (2/18) – Stearns Rd

Victim stated that his motorized scooter was missing from the side of his house. The scooter was later found by officers with damage to the ignition. Police are following up on the case.

• Occurred between 7:15 AM (2/18) and 1:30 PM (2/18) – Goddard Ave

Victim reported to police that while her vehicle was parked in the lower lot of a local private school a window broken and a GPS unit was removed from inside. Police are investigating.

• Occurred between 12:05 AM (2/20) and 8:00 AM (2/20) – Beacon St

Police responded to a local hotel for a reported larceny. Employees of the hotel reported to police that there were several items missing from the restaurant area of the hotel. A report was taken.

• Occurred between 11:20 AM (2/16) and 7:30 PM (2/16) –Harvard St

Victim reported to police that she returned home to find a delivered package in her vestibule had been opened and the items inside were stolen. Police are following up on the case.

• Occurred between 11:30 AM (2/20) and 9:27 PM (2/20) –Fisher Ave

Police responded to a local college for a report of a stolen laptop computer. The victim stated that his laptop was removed from his dorm room. Police are investigating.
Burglary

• Occurred between 12:29 PM (2/18) and 6:15 PM (2/18) – Washington St

Victims reported to police they returned home from work to find the front door unlocked and lights on in the apartment. Victims reported multiple pieces of property missing and police are following up on the case.

• Occurred between 7:00PM (2/21) and 10:00 PM (2/21) –Egmont St
Police responded to take a breaking and entering of a residence report. Officers spoke with the residents who stated that when they returned home they noticed that several items were missing from their apartment. Police are investigating the incident.

• Occurred between 2:20 PM (2/21) and 9:30 PM (2/16) –St Mary’s St

Victim reported to police that she came home to find items in her room had been moved around. She later discovered that several items were missing from her room. Police are following up on the case.
Fraud

• Occurred between 2:00 PM (2/16) and 10:23 AM (02/18) – Beacon St

Victim reported to police that an unknown person had written multiple checks in large amounts in order to withdraw money from his account. Police are following up the incident.

• Occurred between 8:00 PM (2/14) and 10:00 AM (2/19) –Kent St

Victim reported to police that an unknown party had been making charges on his credit card without his knowledge.
Arrest

• Occurred at 7:02 PM (2/18) – Beacon St
Police were called to a local store for the report of a customer disturbing. As a result of the police investigation one female was placed under arrest for disorderly person, assault, threats to commit an assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon and malicious damage to property.

• Occurred at 1:18 AM (2/19) – Boylston St
Police stopped a vehicle for speeding on Boylston St. As a result of the police investigation the operator of the vehicle was placed under arrest for operating after suspension of his license and attaching wrong number plates.

• Occurred at 6:20 AM (2/19) – Jordan Rd
Resident of Jordan Rd. called police after observing an unknown male attempting to enter his vehicle, and a second unknown male who was attempting to gain access to a neighbor’s vehicle. The caller provided police with a description and based on that description two parties were subsequently located in the area. The two parties were then both arrested and charged with attempted B&E and possession of burglarious tools.

• Occurred at 11:41 AM (2/19) – Boylston St
Officers stopped a vehicle for a prohibited turn on Boylston St. As a result of the police investigation the operator was placed under arrest for operating after revocation of his drivers license.

• Occurred at 4:19 PM (2/19) – Harvard St
Officers stopped a vehicle for marked lane violation. As a result of the police investigation the operator was placed under arrest for operating a motor vehicle after suspension of his drivers license.

• Occurred at 5:05 PM (2/19) – Newton St
Police conducted a traffic stop on Newton St and as a result of the police investigation the operator was placed under arrest for operating after suspension of his license.

• Occurred at 7:02 PM (2/19) – Washington St
Police conducted a traffic stop for a driving violation. As a result of the police investigation the operator was placed under arrest for an active arrest warrant.

• Occurred at 8:05 PM (2/19) – Boylston St
Police conducted a traffic stop for speeding on Boylston St. The operator was placed under arrest as a result of the police investigation for operating after suspension for his drivers’ license.

• Occurred at 7:15 PM (2/20) – Beacon St
Police responded to Beacon St for a report of malicious damage to a window. After a brief search of the area, three suspects were located and questioned in relation to the broken window. One of the people stopped was subsequently arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant.

• Occurred at 6:20PM (2/21) –Harvard St
Police conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle that was being operated with its insurance revoked. The operator of the vehicle was placed under arrest for operating after suspension of their license, operating after revocation of their registration and operating an uninsured vehicle.
