September 22nd 2008 Police Reports

Larceny

  • Occurred between 9:00AM (9/19) and 2:00PM (9/19) – 1083 Beacon St

Victim reported that upon returning to his motor vehicle he observed that his front license plate had been removed. There was no damage done to the mounting bracket of the plate so it appears that the plate was removed with a tool.

Arrest

  • Occurred between 9:00PM (9/21) and 10:00PM (9/21) – 400 Heath St

Police were dispatched to a report of a larceny at Pine Manor. During the course of their investigation security guards stopped two individuals matching the description of the suspects. Further questioning revealed that one of the individuals is a current resident. School officials were called to provide a master key and after searching the suspect’s room, police recovered several stolen items from the current and from a past larceny committed earlier this week. Both suspects were arrested and charged with larceny over $250, receiving stolen property over $250, and breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony.
