CAR BREAK - Officers were called to Osborne Rd for a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they left their car unlocked the night before and returned in the morning to find the glove compartment open and items strewn about. The matter is under investigation.


Tuesday, January 25

ARSON - Units were dispatched to Woodland Rd for a house fire. Officers identified a suspicious individual leaving the scene and have taken them into custody.

BURGLARY - Officers responded to Commonwealth Av for a report of a breaking and entering. An individual was seen rummaging through vehicles in the parking lot and then entering the building. The matter is under investigation.

MALICIOUS DAMAGE - Officers were called to Beverly Rd for a report of malicious damage done to a building. The reporting party stated a window had been broken by rocks thrown from outside. The matter is under investigation.

LARCENY - Officers responded to Egmont St for a report of a theft from a building. The reporting party stated they left property in a stairwell to their building but discovered it missing the next morning. The matter is under investigation.

CAR BREAK - Officers responded to Colchester St for a report of breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they left their car unlocked the night before and returned in the morning to find the glove compartment open and items strewn about. The matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers took a report of an online fraud. The reporting party stated they were contacted online about investing in cryptocurrency and were told to pay an income tax on their account in order to access it. The matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers took a report of ID fraud. The reporting party stated they were notified by the bank about charges to their account and discovered a lease had been created through their information. They were advised to monitor their accounts for further fraudulent activity. The matter is under investigation.

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers were called to Thayer St for a report of a package theft. The reporting party stated they received notification of the delivery, but the package was gone when they went to collect it. The matter is under investigation.

LARCENY- Officers responded to Longwood Av for a report of a past fraud and theft. The reporting party stated they purchased a laptop through an online marketplace and discovered it had been previously stolen. The matter is under investigation.

SHOPLIFTING - Officers were called to Harvard St for a report of shoplifting. The reporting party stated an individual concealed an item in their jacket and left without paying. The matter is under investigation.

CAR BREAK - Officers responded to Sewall Av for a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they had left the vehicle unlocked and returned in the morning to find property missing. The matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers took a report of a past fraud. The reporting party stated they discovered a fake check had been cashed from their account. The matter is under investigation.


Thursday, January 27

CAR BREAK - Officers responded to Sewall Av for a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they had left the vehicle unlocked and returned in the morning to find property missing. The matter is under investigation.

CAR BREAK - Officers were called to Commonwealth Av for a report of a breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated they discovered the cover to their truck bed had been slashed open, but nothing was missing. The matter is under investigation.

BAT EXOPOSURE -  Officers were contacted by an individual who reported they had found a bat in their home and managed to move it outside.

Friday, January 28

MALICIOUS DAMAGE - Officers were called to Beacon St for a report of malicious damage done to a building. The reporting party stated an individual entered the property and began to put holes in walls and otherwise damage the unit due to a verbal disagreement. The individual will be summonsed to court for malicious destruction of property

ID FRAUD - Officers took a report of ID fraud. The reporting party stated they were alerted that their personal information was used to open new bank accounts and someone attempted to transfer funds from their account. The matter is under investigation.

LARCENY - Officers responded to Webster St for a report of a theft. The reporting party stated property went missing from their room. The matter is under investigation.


Sunday, January 30

MV THEFT - Officers were called to Beacon St for a report of a motor vehicle theft. The reporting party stated they left their vehicle unlocked and running, and when they returned, it was no longer there. The matter is under investigation.

FRAUD - Officers took a report of fraud. The reporting party stated they discovered a bank account had been created in their name. The matter is under investigation.
