Monday, July 5

BIKE THEFT - Officer responded to a call where a bike was left at a bike rack unsecured. When the owner returned, the bike was missing.


Tuesday, July 6

BIKE THEFT - Officer responded to a call for an attempted bike theft at the Longwood MBTA stop. Suspect was attempting to cut through a lock but fled as the officer approached. The officer recorded a description of the suspect.


Thursday, July 8

BIKE THEFT - Officer responded to a call regarding a bike theft on Cypress St. Bike was locked to a fence for a week, but when owner checked on the bike, it was gone and the lock was cut and left on the ground.


Friday, July 9

GRAFFITI- Officer responded to a graffiti report where a custodian found spray paint on the wall of a multi-purpose building of a local school.

BIKE THEFT - Officer responded to a call where the victim stated their bike had been locked to a bike rack while shopping at Beacon St. The victim returned to find the lock cut and the bike missing.

PACKAGE THEFT - Officers responded to Longwood Av. for a package theft. The victims stated they returned to their apartment to find their package cut open and the contents removed. 

DOG BITE - Officer responded to a call where the victim was bitten by a leashed dog on University Rd. The matter has been referred to the animal control officer.

SHOPLIFTING - Officer responded to a shoplifting report on Commonwealth Av. The security officer shared that the suspect has committed a series of shoplifting offenses that target electronics.


Saturday, July 10

SCOOTER THEFT - Officer responded to a call regarding an attempted scooter theft. Suspect attempted to kickstart an unsecured scooter parked on Harvard St. but was unable to start it. Suspect fled as the officer approached.
