10/27-29/2020

 Between 10/27 and 10/29/2020 officers took 45 reports for unemployment fraud.

10/27/2020- Officer’s took a larceny report from a resident of Amory St.  The resident reported to officers that the locked storage unit in the basement of the building had been rummaged through and items were stolen. While taking the report of the storage unit a second resident of the same building also reported to police that a bike was stolen from the basement.

10/27/2020- Officers responded to Trader Joes on Beacon St for a report of a disturbance in the parking lot.    A parking attendant in the parking lot was attempting to correct a driver who was going the wrong way, and he was hit by the driver’s car.  The operator of the vehicle will be summonsed into court.

10/27/2020- Officers took a larceny report from a resident of Mason Terr.  The resident reported to officers that they had a sign in their front yard that was taken sometime overnight.

10/28/2020- Officers took a package theft report form the resident of Hawes St.  The resident reported they got a “delivered” notice regarding packages they were expecting.  When they went to retrieve the packages they found they were gone.

10/28/2020- Officers took a larceny report from an office building on Beacon St.  The reporting party is an employee of the building, who reported when arriving for work they found that the entrance door was opened and the office appeared to have been rummaged through.

10/28/2020- Officers took a bike theft report from a resident of Russell St.  The resident reported that their bike had been taken from their garage sometime over the past two weeks. 

10/28/2020- Officers took a bike theft report from a resident of Francis St.  The resident reported that they left their bike locked to railing in the rear of the building.  When they went back to it the bike lock had been cut and the bike was gone.

10/28/2020- Officers took a bike theft report from a resident of St. Paul St.  The resident reported that they had a bike in the basement of their apartment complex.  When they went down to get the bike they found that it was gone.

10/28/2020- Officers made an arrest for receiving stolen property on St. Paul St. while investigating the above larcenies. 

10/29/2020- Officers made an arrest for outstanding warrants on Beacon St.

10/29/2020- Officers took a theft report from a construction site on Dudley Rd.  The site manager reported that some time over night the site was entered and items had been stolen and damaged.
