At approximately 11:44 AM Officers responded to a report of a bat in a residence on Crafts Road. Officers met with the reporting party who told police that at 11:30 AM they discovered a dead bat under the bed. It was unclear how long the bat was there, or how it died. The reporting party has a Labrador dog that is suspected of killing the bat. The dog is up to date on rabies shots and the bat was taken to the Massachusetts State Laboratory to be tested.

At approximately 11:20 AM Officers responded to a call of a larceny on Egmont Street. Once on scene Officers spoke with the reporting party who informed the police that they had hired movers who arrived at the home at around 10 AM to remove carpet. Once inside 2 of the 3 movers asked the reporting party to show them where the dumpster was located out back, while one of the movers remained indoors to "Do paper work". After the movers left the home, the reporting party noticed that his wallet that was left on a desk had approximately $500 stolen from it. Police are investigating.
