10:46AM- An officer was dispatched to Winthrop Road for a
bike theft report. The officer was met
by the father of the victim on arrival.
He states his son’s bike was stolen off their property. The son was contacted by phone by the
officer. The son stated on 10/22/18
around 5:00PM he left his Ultegra black bike unsecured outside of his garage
door. On 10/23/18 around 7:00AM he
noticed the bike was missing. This case
is being investigated.
11:57AM- The reporting party stated on 10/23/18 around
12:00AM a package was delivered and left in the foyer of the building he lived
in on Naples Road. He reported arriving
home at 8:00PM and discovering the package was missing. This case is under investigation.
4:50PM- Officers responded to Boylston Street for a shoplifting
incident. The owner of the store
targeted told an officer he was in the store when a male entered around
4:40PM. The male looks at several items
and asked questions about the merchandise while wearing a hood covering his
head and looking down. The owner
recognized him as he had come by the store several times this year to sell
merchandise. The owner described that
this time the subject appeared suspicious with his face hidden by the hood and
the lack of eye contact. A few minutes
later the subject grabbed several items and ran out of the store. The owner ran after him and observed the
suspect running west on Boylston Street and enter a black vehicle and drive
west on Boylston Street. The suspect is
described as a dark skinned black male, approximately 6’1”-6’2”, around 17 or
18 years of age, thin build, light facial hair on the chin and lip, braces,
wearing a black Adidas track/windbreaker with white stripes on the arms,
black/blue/white Air Jordan sneakers and skinny jeans with torn front pant
legs. This case is being investigated.
