While assigned to the front desk, an officer was approached by a Brookline resident to report his bicycle stolen.  The victim reported last seeing the bicycle unlocked next to the bleachers at Cypress field along with his camera bag.  Victim proceeded to walk around the field taking pictures.  When victim returned he noticed his bike and camera bag missing.

10/05/2016

While on patrol, an officer was dispatched to a local store on Harvard Street for a report of a shoplifting.  An employee observed two males place several items into his bag.  Employee observed the two males go through the checkout line, only paying for the items in the cart.  The two males tried to leave store without paying for the other items and were confronted by the employee.  Both males left the bag inside the cart and took off in a car.  Officer made a traffic stop in front of store.  The two males were placed under arrest.

While on patrol an officer was dispatched to Washington Street for a report of a past shoplifting.  The store manager observed a women walking off with a piece of clothing.  A search of the area yielded negative results.

While assigned to the front desk, an officer was approached by a Brookline resident to report a past Larceny.  Victim stated her diamond ring is missing from her resident.  Report taken.

While assigned to the front desk, an officer was approached by a Brookline resident to report a past Larceny. from Tappan Street.  Victim stated that her Apple I phone was taken from her locker.

While on patrol an officer was dispatched to Greenough Street for a past Larceny.  Victim reports leaving his back pack.  When victim returns, his wallet was missing from his back pack.

While on patrol an officer was dispatched to Greenough Street for a past Larceny.  Victim reports leaving her back pack and her Apple I phone unlocked in the locker room.

10/11/2016

While on patrol an officer was dispatched to Salisbury Road for a past Larceny.  Victim reports someone dug up and took one of the bushes from front yard.

While on patrol an officer was dispatched to a local store on Beacon Street for a report of shoplifting.  An employee observed a male conceal items.  The male will be summonsed to court.

While on patrol an officer was dispatched to Kent Street for a report of a B&E of MV and Larceny.  Victim stated he parked his car at 2100hrs.  When victim returned to his car at 2235hrs, he noticed his glove compartment was open and his wallet that contained gift cards were missing.  Victim was unsure if he locked his car.
