10/19/2016

On October 19 while on patrol, an officer was approached by a woman who wanted to report a larceny. The woman stated that she had locked her bike to a pole outside of a business on Beacon St. earlier that day and that when she returned for it, the bike and lock were gone. The matter is under investigation.

An officer was dispatched to a store on Harvard St. for a report of shoplifting. The store supervisor said that a man had been in the store and took items without paying. The incident is still being investigated.

10/20/2016

On October 20, an officer received a report of a past larceny. The reporting party stated that his son’s bike had been stolen from bike rack on Greenough St. where it had been locked up earlier that day. The matter is under investigation.

10/21/2016

On October 21, an officer responded to Dale St. for a larceny report. The victim stated that his bike had been stolen the day before from a bike rack on Greenough Street. The incident is being investigated.

10/22/2016

On October 22, an officer was dispatched to Harvard St. for a report of shoplifting. Employees reported seeing a man enter the store, walk around for a while, and then leave. Believing he may have been involved with a previous incident of shoplifting over the summer, the employees reviewed surveillance footage and saw that the man had taken items without paying. The matter is under investigation.

On October 23, an officer was dispatched to Cameron St. for a larceny report. The victim stated that a bike had been stolen from in front of her apartment building over the weekend.

Officers responded to Pond Ave. to speak to a resident about a possible Town By-Law Violation. While speaking with resident, it was found that he had an active warrant. The man was placed under arrest.
