Police reports from April 14th to April 15th, 2015

April 14th
An officer observed a vehicle on Cypress Street that failed to stop for the red light. The officer pulled the vehicle over and asked for the driver’s license and registration. The driver was placed under arrest for an unlicensed operation.

Police responded to a report of a shop lifter at a business on Beacon Street. The suspect was placed under arrest.

An individual came to the station to report an identity fraud. The individual received a message stating that someone else had filed taxes under their name and social security number.  This matter is still under investigation.

Police officers responded to a report of a stolen cell phone. This matter is still under investigation.

April 15th
An officer noticed a vehicle traveling on Commonwealth Avenue without an inspection sticker. The officer pulled the vehicle and asked for the driver’s license and registration. The driver was placed under arrest for operating a vehicle with a suspended license.


An officer responded to a report of a package theft on Freeman Street. This matter is still under investigation.
