Police reports from March 20th to March 22nd
March 20th
An officer noticed a vehicle with no headlights illuminated
on Washington Street. The officer pulled
the vehicle over and asked for the driver’s license and registration. The
driver was placed under arrest for a default warrant out of Dorchester District
Court.
A subject reported a package theft on West Roxbury Parkway.
This matter is still under investigation.
A subject reported some missing personal property on
Commonwealth Avenue. This matter is still under investigation.
An officer noticed a vehicle without an inspection sticker on
Winchester Street. The officer pulled the vehicle over and asked for the driver’s
license and registration. The driver was operating a vehicle with a suspended
license and was placed under arrest.
March 21st
Officers responded to a report of a breaking and entering of
a motor vehicle. The individual is unsure if they left their motor vehicle
unlocked. The individual noticed some things missing inside the vehicle. This
matter is still under investigation.
Officers responded to a report of a hit and run motor
vehicle accident on Village Way. This matter is still under investigation.
March 22nd
An officer noticed a vehicle causing a lane obstruction on
Mountfort Street. The officer activated their emergency headlights and saw in
the driver’s side of the vehicle that the operator was slouched over the
steering wheel. Based on the evidence at the scene, the driver was operating a
vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
