Police Reports July 17, 2014
On July 17, an officer observed a vehicle infraction at the
Harvard St and Beacon St intersection. The officer conducted a traffic stop,
asking for the driver’s license and registration. During the traffic stop,
marijuana was seized from the vehicle and the two individuals were placed under
arrest for possession of marijuana.
On July 17, officers responded to Freeman St and St. Paul St
for a report of an assault. The individuals stated that they were walking up
Freeman St when he heard the sound of a bullet pass by them. The other
individual was struck on his stomach. Officers were also approached by a third
victim who was hit by a bb bullet. As officers investigated, they observed more
bb bullets being fired in the area. Based on these observations, officers were
lead to the building where the bullets appeared to be fired from. Officers
entered the building and spoke with the subject believed to be firing the bb
gun. Officers found two bb guns in the residence and placed the suspect under
arrest for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
On July 17, an officer responded to a motor vehicle accident
on Harvard St. One of the parties involved in the accident did not have a
license. It was determined that the individual’s license was suspended and
there was a warrant for her arrest. The individual was placed under arrest.
