Police Reports 2/19-2/20

Not Duly Licensed: 2/19 at 5:15 PM- Comm. Ave / Buick St.

An officer observed a vehicle fail to stop for a stop sign at the intersection of Thatcher St and St. Paul St. The officer initiated a traffic stop at Commonwealth Ave. and Buick St. A license and registration check revealed that the operator did not have a valid license. The driver was placed under arrest for Unlicensed Operation.

Sector 1

Operating after Suspension: 2/20 at 10:19 AM- Babcock St.

An officer observed a vehicle fail to stop for a stop sign at Babcock St. and Freeman St. The officer initiated a traffic stop on Babcock St. A license and registration check revealed that the driver had a suspended license. The driver was placed under arrest for Operating after Suspension.

Sector 2

Arrest: 2/19 at 10:37 PM- Harvard St. / Marion St.

An officer observed a vehicle traveling without its headlights on. The officer initiated a traffic stop at Harvard Street and Marion Street. A query revealed that the driver had a warrant out of West Roxbury District Court. The driver was placed under arrest.

Sector 3

B&E MV: 2/18- Beacon St.

An individual reported the breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. The victim stated that sometime between 9:10 PM and 11:30 PM on 2/18, unknown suspect(s) removed a laptop from a bag that was in the back seat of his vehicle. The vehicle was parked on Beacon St. and there were no signs of forced entry.
