Police Reports 11/9-11/12

Protective Custody: 11/10 at 11:22pm – Commonwealth Ave/Naples Rd
Officer observed a male subject stumbling on the sidewalk and then proceeded to walk into the roadway of Commonwealth Ave. The subject appeared extremely intoxicated and unsteady on his feet. For his own safety, the subject was placed into Protective Custody.

Not Duly Licensed: 11/12 at 9:45am – Pleasant St/ Crowninshield Rd
Officer observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and the tail light not illuminating. A vehicle’s registration check revealed that the driver had an expired right to operate a motor vehicle. Driver was placed under arrest and charged for operating not duly license, license not in possession and defective taillight.

Malicious Damage: B/t 11/9 & 11/11 – Beacon St
Caller reported that someone ripped off a mirror from its post in the rear of Beacon St sometime over the weekend.

Larceny: 11/12 b/t 8:00am & 5:41pm – Egmont St
Victim stated that he was in the process of moving out of his apartment on Egmont ST when he noticed one of his personal belongings missing. Victim stated that a subject was assisting him earlier with the move and allowed the subject to sleep in the apartment overnight. When confronted about the missing item, the subject denied any involvement and fled on his bicycle towards Commonwealth Ave.

Larceny: 11/12 at 2:30pm – Beacon St
Victim stated that he was unloading luggage from his vehicle to his apartment, when he believes that someone may have walked by and had taken his unattended bag in the vehicle. At 6:15pm, caller reported a bag unattended for 25-30 minutes on Beacon St. The bag was returned to the victim with an item missing.

Larceny: 11/9 at 5:30pm – Beacon St
Victim stated that a scanner was found missing from her office.

Larceny: 11/2 at 11:00am – Brookline Pl
Victim stated that cell phone was stolen from her workplace. Victim stated that she left her cell phone unattended on the bathroom sink counter as she proceeded to enter the bathroom stall. Victim claimed that it took only approximately 2 minutes before her phone was taken.

Malicious Damage/Auto: 11/10 at 2:30am & 11/11 at 2pm – Park St
Victim reported that his car had been keyed from his parking spot in the rear of Park St.

Burglary: 11/10 b/t 5:30pm & 8:00pm – Winthrop Rd
Officer responded for a report of a past burglary. Victim stated that she left her apartment door unlocked and returned to find items missing.
