11/29-11/30

Malicious Damage:

Occurred Overnight, 11/29-11/30 – Salisbury Rd.

Officers responded to a call for malicious damage to a motor vehicle. The victim stated that his vehicle’s rear window had been smashed overnight. There were no signs of entry and nothing reported stolen. A check of the surrounding area did not reveal any additional damage to any property.

Larceny:

Occurred on 11/29 at 10:16 AM – Movieworks (1658 Beacon St.)

Officers responded to a reported shoplifting. The suspect was described as a light skinned black male, in his early twenties, approximately 6'02" tall with a thin frame. The suspect did not have any facial hair and had a close cropped hair cut (half inch), and was wearing dark blue jeans and a loose black winter coat. He was also carrying a plastic shopping bag with him.

The suspect went to the rear of the store and had taken a number of items on the Blu Ray rack at which point the employee went to confront him. As the suspect then headed towards the front door to exit, he grabbed at least three DVD's from the front of the store.

The suspect has been in the store on at least two prior occasions.
