Shoplifting:

Occurred on 10/18 at 12:53 PM – TJ Maxx (525 Harvard St.)

Officers were dispatched to TJ Maxx for a report of a shoplifter being held by security. The suspect was observed on camera ripping the tags off of shirts in the Men's Department, and then taking the shirts and hiding them amongst other shirts on the rack. He then proceeded to the checkout area and paid for a pair of pants, which the cashier placed into a bag after the purchase. The suspect then returned to the same area of the Men's department and placed the hidden shirts into the bag he was given at checkout. He was confronted at the exit and held in the security office.
