7/27-7/28

O.U.I.:

Occurred at 10:35 PM on 7/27 – Harvard St./Longwood Ave.

Officers on patrol observed a vehicle driving without its headlights or taillights on. They followed it and noticed it swerving and initiated a traffic stop. After querying the driver’s history, it was revealed that his license had been revoked. He was arrested, and the officers then noticed he was unsteady on his feet and he smelled strongly of alcohol. After further investigation at the station, it was revealed that he was driving while intoxicated, and was charged accordingly.

Larceny:

Occurred on 7/7, Reported on 7/27 – Borland St.

An individual reported his surfboard missing from his front yard. It is described as an 11' Robert August Stand-Up Board, yellow and black in color.


Occurred between 6/7 and 6/10, Reported on 7/27 – Harris St.

An individual came into the police station to file a report of a larceny. He had hired a contractor to do some work on his home when he began to notice several items missing from his home. The suspect was picked up in New Hampshire for traffic offenses and his vehicle was impounded. Several items believed to have been stolen were discovered in the vehicle, and the investigation is now ongoing.
