Occurred 10:58 AM (9/03) – Harvard St.
While patrolling, officers observed a motor vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on the wrong side of the road and strike a pedestrian sign. Officers subsequently executed a traffic stop and placed the driver under arrest for failure to stop for a police officer, operating to endanger, marked lane violation, making an illegal left turn, speeding, and leaving the scene of a property damage accident.
Occurred 6:05 PM (9/04) – Walnut St.
Police responded to a report of an assault and battery. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting party who stated that he observed a group of individuals assault a male victim and flee. Officers subsequently located the suspects and placed them under arrest.
Occurred 1:19 AM (9/05) –Harvard St. / Marion St.
Police executed a traffic stop for a driving violation. Upon identifying the driver, officers discovered that his Mass. driver’s license had expired and had also been suspended. Officers subsequently placed the driver under arrest for operating after suspension.
While conducting traffic enforcement, police observed a motor vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. Officers executed a traffic stop and ran a query of the driver’s information which revealed a revoked license status. The driver was subsequently placed under arrest for driving after revocation and speeding.
Larceny
Occurred between 12:00 PM and 12:05 PM 10:58 AM (8/16) – Cypress St.
Police responded to a report of a stolen package. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated that she did not receive a package she was expecting. The victim contacted the mail carrier who confirmed the delivery of the package and stated that the package had been left at the front door of her apartment building. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred between 2:51 PM and 3:00 PM (8/21) – Harvard St.
Police responded to a report of a past larceny. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated that sometime while he was in a local restaurant, his wallet was taken from his rear pants pocket. Police were informed that the restaurant is equipped with video surveillance and will be following up on the case.
Occurred between 2:30 PM and 4:30 PM (9/04) – Harvard St.
Police responded to a report of a larceny. Officers met with the reporting party who stated that while she was in a local store, an unknown suspect took her wallet. The wallet is described as a cowhide wallet containing the victim’s credit cards and personal papers. Police are following up on the case.
Occurred 1:44 PM (9/05) – Harvard St.
Police responded to a report of a shoplifter at a local store. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting party, a store employee, who stated that he observed a female subject place two packages of perfume into her purse. Police subsequently located and spoke with the suspect. The suspect will be summonsed into Brookline District Court for shoplifting.
Occurred 4:12 PM (9/05) – Harvard St.
Police responded to a report of a fleeing shoplifter. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with the store’s security guard who stated that when the store’s alarm was set off, he observed a female subject carry multiple pairs of blue jeans out of the store and flee in a motor vehicle driven by a male subject. Police were unable to locate the suspects but will be conducting a follow-up investigation.
Police responded to a report of a larceny. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting party who stated that he forgot his cell phone in the recreation room of his apartment building. When the victim returned for his cell phone, he discovered it missing from the table he had left it on. Police are following up on the case.

When she returned, she discovered her wallet missing from her purse. The wallet contained the victim’s license, social security card, debit cards, credit cards and cash. Police are following up on the case.
Burglary
Occurred between 2:00 PM (9/03) and 3:00 PM (9/05) – Rice St.
Police responded to a report of a past breaking and entering. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the reporting party who stated that her apartment had been broken into sometime during the weekend. She informed officers that she had been away from her apartment during this time and discovered several of her roommates’ items disturbed when she returned. Police are following up on the case.
Malicious Damage
Occurred 12:10 AM (9/06) – Beacon St.
Police responded to a report of malicious damage. Officers met with the reporting party who stated that sometime while she was sleeping, someone threw a rock through her living room window. Officers spoke a witness who stated that she observed two male suspects throw a rock at the victim’s apartment and flee. The suspects are described as white males, around 18-19 years of age, with a medium build, and approximately 5'7 to 5’8. Police are following up on the case.
Police responded to a report of malicious damage. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated that when he returned to his fruit store, he discovered a bench had been pushed through his store’s side window. A report was filed.
Police responded to a report of malicious damage. The victim stated that the previous night she left her black Honda sedan parked in her assigned parking space. When she returned the following day, she discovered damage to her vehicle’s doors, trunk, and windshield. A report was filed.

Officers met with the reporting parties, two female roommates, who stated that prior to officers’ arrival, they had uninvited male guests in their residence who were causing a disturbance. They informed officers that as one of the males was leaving, he broke a handrail outside their residence. Police requested that the male subject be summonsed into Brookline District Court for the charge of malicious damage
