Aug. 18th

Arrest


Occurred 3:02 AM and 4:06 AM (8/18) – Washington St.


Police responded to a report of an erratic driver operating a motor vehicle. The reporting party stated that he witnessed a motor vehicle strike a median and hit a sign and bushes. Upon arrival, officers observed evidence that was consistent with the witness’ statement and subsequently located the suspect. Based on officers’ observations of the driver’s intoxicated appearance, the subject was placed under arrest for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.


Occurred 12:09 PM (8/18) – Boylston St. / Buckminster Rd.


While patrolling, officers observed a motor vehicle travel through a red traffic light and attempted to execute a traffic stop. The subject failed to stop for officers and a pursuit began of the subject. The subject came into contact with a cement pole and came to a stop. Officers subsequently placed the female subject under arrest and charged her with failure to yield for pedestrians in a crosswalk, failure to stop for police officers, failure to stop for a red light, operating after suspension, operating to endanger, and failure to stop for stop signs.


Breaking and Entering and Larceny of a motor vehicle


Occurred between 11:30 AM (8/17) and 9:36 AM (8/18) – Freeman St. / St. Paul St.


Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering and larceny from a motor vehicle. Upon arrival, officers observed a vehicle with a smashed passenger side window and contacted the owner of the vehicle about the incident. The victim reported a Roadmate GPS system missing from the vehicle. Police are following up on the case.


Fraud


Occurred between 12:15 PM (7/22) and 12:15 MP (8/12) – Alton Pl.


Police responded to a report of a fraud. The reporting party told officers that a local resident had become the victim of a check fraud in his jurisdiction. A female suspect forged and cashed two computer generated checks using the victim’s personal information. Police will be conducting a follow up investigation.
