April 21st

Arrest

Occurred 10:51AM (4/21) – 400 Heath St.

Police executed a traffic stop for a driving violation. Upon identifying the driver, it was discovered that his license had been revoked and that he had an arrest warrant. The driver was subsequently arrested for operating a motor vehicle after revocation and the warrant.

Fraud

Occurred 7:04PM (4/21) – Pond Ave.

Police responded to a report of a fraudulent use of a credit card. The victim stated that he had received a call from Best Buy electronic store about a purchase he had made using his credit card. The victim reports that he had never made this purchase. Police are following up on the case.

Malicious Damage

Occurred between 1:45AM and 1:57AM (4/21) – Fuller St.

Police responded to a report of malicious damage. The caller stated that he was sleeping and heard the sound of glass breaking coming from a rear alleyway. He also heard people laughing and a car drive away. When he went out to look, he noticed that a basement door’s windows had been smashed by a cinderblock. Police are investigating.

Breaking and Entering and Larceny of a Motor Vehicle

Occurred between 3:00PM and 3:56PM (4/21) – Saint Mary’s St.

Police responded to a report of two motor vehicle breaks. Officers discovered that the first vehicle’s front passenger window was smashed and that a GPS was missing. The second vehicle experienced the same damage, with a GPS also being taken. Police are following up on the case.

Larceny

Occurred between 5:35PM and 5:45PM (4/21) – 1482 Beacon St.

Police responded to a report of shoplifting at a local grocery store. The caller stated that he and multiple other parties observed two suspects steal a bottle of vodka from the store. Suspect one is described as a black male, 5’7”, approximately 19 years of age, wearing a white t-shirt and shorts. Suspect two is a white male, approximately 19 years of age, wearing a white t-shirt, red sox baseball cap (on backwards), and shorts with a white towel hanging from the pocket. Police are following up on the case.

Robbery

Occurred 6:46PM (4/21) – Amory St.

Police responded to a report of a robbery. The victim stated that he was walking towards Beacon St. and was in the process of changing songs on his iPhone when a man on a bicycle rode by and snatched it from his hand. The suspect is described as a white male between 30-50 years old with a square chin, wearing a royal blue baseball cap and sunglasses. Police are following up on the case.
