September 8th Police Reports

Larceny

  • Occurred between 9:00AM (9/8) and 11:15AM (9/8) – 25 Harvard St.

Victim reported that her wallet was stolen from her purse while exercising. Victim stated that the roster was missing an individual who hadn’t signed in. Police are following up on the case.

  • Occurred between 12:00PM (8/20) and 12:38PM (9/8) – High St.

Victim reported that her children’s Nintendo Wii video gaming system was missing from her closet. Victim states that her apartment was scheduled to be exterminated. According to the victim, the system went missing during the time when the maintenance workers were in her apartment.

  • Occurred between 12:59PM (6/14) and 12:59PM (7/31) – 190 Harvard St.

Subject reported to police that a few items that belonged to her sister had been stolen. Victim stated that she noticed missing items during her move out process. Victim believes that the only other person who is able to enter the apartment is someone who has a key. Police questioned the maintenance worker and landlord. Detectives will be following up on the case.

  • Occurred 7:34PM (9/8) – University Rd.

Victim reported his bike was stolen from his garage. Victim states that nothing else had been taken but suspect did leave a bike behind. Police have placed the bike in evidence.

  • Occurred between 7:30AM (9/8) and 7:33PM (9/8) – 120 Armory St.

Victim reported that someone had stolen his bike. Victim states that he had locked the bike to a parking sign pole. Victim had taken the seat off the bike hoping to deter any theft. Victim will be notifying police with the serial numbers.

Malicious Damage

  • Occurred between 12:00PM (9/4) and 7:20AM (9/8) – 1768 Beacon St.

Victim reported having found glass fragments on the floor in her apartment. Victim stated she then observed that two of her windows had been damaged. Police noted that the damage didn’t appear to be the result of an attempted break in.

Operating after Suspension

  • Occurred 12:58PM (9/8) – 1396 Beacon St.

Suspect was stopped by police for failure to use signals when having entered into oncoming traffic. Police were able to stop suspect. Suspect’s license check came back suspended. Suspect was placed under arrest for operating after suspension. Suspect was be issued a citation for failing to use turn signal and failing to yield to oncoming traffic while turning left.

  • Occurred 5:01PM (9/8) – Washington St/Davis Av

Police responded to a call of an individual driving erratically. Suspect was stopped by police. Suspect’s license check came back suspended. Suspect was placed under arrest for operating after suspension.

Robbery

  • Occurred between 12:15AM (9/8) and 1:30AM (9/8) – Babcock St/Commonwealth Av.

Victim had approached a patrol car to state that he had been assaulted and his assailants had taken his bag. Victim stated that all four males had fled in a dark green van. As victim was talking to the officers, the van drove by. Police stopped the van. Police found five occupants, all of whom were questioned in regards to the incident. All parties were placed under arrest and will be charged with unarmed robbery, assault and battery, assault and battery D/W, and disorderly.

Violation of Court Order

  • Occurred between 5:31AM (6/14) and 11:00PM (6/14) – 0 Harvard Pl.

Victim reported that her assailant had violated a restraining order she had against him. Suspect will be charged with three counts of violation of the restraining order. After being unable to locate the suspect, police have requested a warrant.

Warrant- Default

  • Occurred 10:04PM (9/8) – 350 Washington St.

Upon arriving to the police station to retrieve her car, subject’s towed vehicle report displayed a warrant. Subject was placed under arrest for the warrant.
