Monday, March 9

CAR BREAK

Officers responded to a call of a ongoing motor vehicle breaking and entering. Officers were able to locate and arrest the suspect. 

PACKAGE THEFT

Officers responded to a report of package theft where the reporting party had received a notification that their package arrived early afternoon of March 6th and when they returned in the early evening, the package was gone. 

SHOPLIFTING

Officers responded to a report of shoplifting that occurred on Commonwealth Ave.

THEFT

Officers responded to a call wanting to report theft of a electric scooter that was taken from outside a gym from the early evening to late evening. 

Tuesday, March 10

LICENSE PLATE THEFT

Officers responded to a report of a stolen license plate from a rental vehicle, which was noticed as missing around 5pm. 

FOUND PROPERTY

Officers received a report of found property turned into the front desk of the Brookline Police Department. A small brown wallet found around the Brookline Village area is held at the station for safe keeping.

Thursday, March 12

LARCENY OF ELECTRIC BIKE

Officers responded to a report of larceny of an E-Bike from a shop on Washington Street. The suspect paid for multiple bikes with different cards that did not go through. 

SHOPLIFTING

Officers responded to a report of shoplifting that occurred on Harvard Street. The suspect was located and arrested.

SHOPLIFTING

Officers responded to a report of shoplifting on Commonwealth Avenue.

SHOPLIFTING

Officers responded to a report of shoplifting on Beacon Street.

Friday, March 13

SHOPLIFTING

Officers responded to a report of shoplifting on Harvard Street.

PACKAGE THEFT

Officers responded to a case of package theft on Beacon Street, where the reporting party went to retrieve the package a day after it was delivered to find it was stolen. 

BICYCLE THEFT

Officers responded to the front desk of the Brookline Police Department for a report of bicycle theft from the Brookline High School campus. The bike was stolen between 3pm and 6pm.

MALICIOUS DAMAGE

Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity on Dean Road, where the suspect had broken the glass panel of the front door to gain access. 

Saturday, March 14

BUILDING FIRE

Officers responded to a report of a building fire on Webster Street alongside Brookline Fire Department.

FOUND PROPERTY

Officers at the front desk of the Brookline Police Department received found property. The property, a watch, was found on March 9th in the afternoon near 210 Harvard Street.  The property is at the station for safe keeping. 

Sunday, March 15

SHOPLIFTING

Officers responded to a report of past theft on Boylston Street. 

FOUND PROPERTY

Officers at the front desk of the Brookline Police Department received a portable phone charger that was found in the area of 419 Harvard Street that the morning. The property is at the station for safe keeping. 

SHOPLIFTING

Officers responded to a report of shoplifting on Commonwealth Avenue where the suspect was arrested.
