1/25/2021 BIKE THEFT – Officers responded to a bicycle theft on Babcock St. where the reporting party stated that they chained their bike on the porch of their home. They found that the bike was later missing but another bike was put in its place. At this time, officers were able to locate the owner of the second bike and are still investigating the missing bike.

1/25/2021 FRAUD – Officers responded to a report of identity fraud where the reporting party stated that they received letters claiming that they were attempting to open multiple bank accounts. Upon contacting the bank, the victim discovered that their personal information had been compromised. This prompted them to report to police to resolve their case of impersonation.

1/25/2021 FRAUD – Officers responded to an unemployment fraud report where the victim stated that they received mail from the IRS that an unemployment claim was filed under their name. Since the party did not file for unemployment benefits, they contacted police and their employer to resolve the issue.
