Monday, May 6th

8:56AM: A citizen came to the Police station to report the past theft of his bicycle. The man stated that he locked his bike in a secured storage area of St. Paul Street in October of 2018. This Saturday, May 4th 2019, the reporting party discovered that his bike was no longer there. The bike is a 16 Trek X-Caliber that was locked using a “U-Lock.” This case is under investigation.

10:01AM: Police were dispatched to Park Street for a report of a past breaking and entering and larceny. The reporting party told officers his bike had been stolen from the rear hallway. Officers also observed considerable damage to the side door. The reporting party’s girlfriend noticed slight damage at 11AM on Sunday, May 5th but most of the door was still intact. Police are investigating.

12:01PM: There was a report of an animal bite on Waverly Street. The reporting party told police she was walking her dog when she walked past another person walking their dog. The other dog was acting aggressively and pounced in the direction the reporting party’s dog. She didn’t notice her dog was bleeding until they got home. The other owner was issued a citation for the animal bite.

6:03PM: Officers were dispatched to a residence on Kent Street for a report of larceny. Upon arrival, police spoke to the reporting party. She stated that she could not find two pieces of jewelry and presumed they were stolen. This case is under investigation.

8:11PM: Police responded to a bike theft on Beacon Street. The reporting party claimed that when he left for work this morning at 7:30AM he noticed his bike was missing. The cut bike lock was found at the scene. On Saturday May 4th at 7:50AM, surveillance footage shows a white male wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue pants, blue and white sneakers, and carrying a gray bag steal the bicycle. This case is under investigation.
